The place is really affordable to live at. The prices here are unbelievable for a private room. $444 a month plus $10-$15 extra for electricity. It's a heck of a deal, and very affordable. The room is perfect sized for me, and I've loved living here at Wyview. Just take a peak and some of the other places nearby and you'll see how Wyview is better. Glenwood, Raintree and Alta all have lower star reviews and their prices are higher. There is parking right near your apartment here, and it's way better than the situation at Heritage. Yes, it's a little less social than other places, but there are so many STEM majors here (including myself), and normally we are always stuck doing homework anyways 😂 I'd recommend Wyview Park, it's cheap affordable and nice to stay in. Management is great and very helpful. Plus, they have the Ryde Shuttle!

Living here has been a great experience. It’s honestly been the best place I’ve lived. The community is peaceful, the staff is friendly, and I’ve always felt comfortable here. The only downside is that there are often issues with the laundry machines, which can be frustrating. Aside from that, I have nothing but good things to say. Thank you for making this feel like home!

The complex provides housing, but there are several quality of life issues prospective residents should be aware of. The buildings are older and have very thin, worn carpet and poor sound insulation. Normal walking noise travels easily between units. In our experience, this created tension with neighbors, including ceiling pounding and an aggressive late-night door knock over routine footstep noise. Management was informed and no action was taken. Ventilation is also an issue. Cooking smells from neighboring units frequently traveled into our apartment, especially when their windows were not opened, and there was little that could be done to prevent this. Depending on the building, pest issues (including spiders and occasional roaches) may occur even if the apartment is kept very clean. Parking can be difficult. Spots are unassigned, and residents with multiple vehicles often take the closest spaces. Double parking and cars frequently crossing lines were common. Over time, our car accumulated multiple dings and scratches, and management stated that cameras do not cover the parking areas. The shared laundry room was unreliable. Several washers and dryers were often broken, and on multiple occasions our clothes were damaged (holes and black marks). Residents are told laundry is used “at your own risk,” and there was no accountability when damage occurred. Pedestrian safety was also a concern. On multiple occasions, we experienced drivers of large pickup trucks within the complex honking at pedestrians to force them out of the way, despite posted stop signs and low speed expectations. Some drivers also routinely treated stop signs as optional. Maintenance response was inconsistent. Some issues required multiple requests before being addressed. Bike theft appeared to be a recurring issue, yet bikes are not allowed in stairwells, and shared storage areas were often taken over. Overall, this place provides a roof and walls, but due to noise transmission, ventilation issues, parking problems, and lack of enforcement, we would not consider it a great living experience.
