I was in a hurry to move in and the Calla Homes office team Cassie, Val and Ariel went out of their way (above and beyond!) to make it happen for me. They are very responsive, professional and kind. I am excited to live here. I know living close to others can present challenges, but I am looking forward to contributing to the community. Thank you so much Cassie, Val and especially Ariel for working late and hard to help me tremendously!

To echo other recent reviews- when I first moved here, it was great. Townhome itself was in great condition and management was kind, helpful, and responsive. They then changed management multiple times with little communication about this, and the most recent time has been horrible.
We moved out of our place this month and have had little to no responses despite multiple phone calls, emails, requests, and even showing up to the office during office hours (door locked with no one there). I have charges on my account for rent for days after my lease ended that they will not respond to/remove. I had been working with Sal in the office who now will not respond to calls or emails. This is my last resort before getting legal involved.

When I first moved here it was great. I got quick responses. New management company took over. No one ever answers the phone. Submit a maintenance request and wait at least 3 weeks before someone will get a hold of you to schedule. The water has been shut off without any kind of notice. Just a email hours AFTER it had been shut off. The trash was not picked up. WiFi stopped working so I went to Verizon to get my own and am still being charged the $165 “amenity” fee. This place has no amenities. I have my own renters insurance and am being charged theirs. Good luck trying to get a property manager on the phone or get a return phone call or email or text back. They will ignore you. I have left several voicemails, and emails and not once has anyone returned my calls or emails. This place is a joke and unfortunately I signed a new lease a month before new management took over. I will not be resigning again. Do better!!
Update- 6/30-
Their response says to contact them. YOU’RE JOKING RIGHT?! Did you not read that you don’t answer phone calls, return voicemails, OR emails? Maybe respond to my emails or return MY phone calls!

As I am writing this review the entire complex's water is shut off, again, because management has failed to pay the utility company. Again. Something that should never happen has happened FOUR TIMES in the last ~18 months. I even called the leasing office twice in the last few weeks specifically about this, begging them to do their jobs, yet here we are. Unbelievable.

NXT is the most demanding company I've ever rented from. Their inadequate communication and disorganization pose challenges when interacting with them, often leaving you in the dark about ongoing matters since they struggle to answer calls or respond to emails.
I resided at Calla Court Homes for a year, and everything was going smoothly until NXT acquired the property. The transition took place in May 2024, and just five days before June’s rent was due, there was no method to pay or any contact information provided for rent submissions. It was challenging to communicate with them, and they seem to incentivize their staff to withhold security deposits after you vacate. Following your move, you may need to persistently contact them for 40 days and threaten legal action before they address your concerns, such as providing a tracking number for a check they claim to have sent weeks prior. This company appears indifferent to their tenants, often ignoring calls and becoming defensive when faced with multiple emails expressing your issues, as they prioritize profit over tenant satisfaction.
This company typically responds to 1-star customer reviews with a generic apology, suggesting a lack of authentic interest in feedback due to prioritizing profits. Avoid interacting with NXT management to prevent potential financial, time, and effort-related challenges when dealing with this company. My experiences are not unique, as others, including ex-employees, have faced challenges with NXT management. The only 5-star ratings seem to come from current employees, possibly influenced by incentives.
I am sharing this review not just to caution potential renters about this company, but also to highlight the unethical behavior that should not be tolerated. Taking advantage of individuals, especially in a challenging economy, is unacceptable. NXT, it is crucial to improve your practices and prioritize the well-being of your tenants by treating them with the same respect you would expect for yourself. Everyone deserves fair treatment in business dealings..
STAY AWAY FROM NXT.
