Freebird Marketing Service

As a vendor partner for Solhaven, I had an outstanding experience working with their team, especially Rebecca McBride. I provided professional real estate photography and virtual staging services, and the entire process was organized, efficient, and enjoyable. Rebecca was responsive, communicative, and a pleasure to collaborate with, ensuring every detail was handled smoothly from start to finish. Solhaven clearly values high-quality marketing imagery, and that made the partnership both productive and rewarding. I truly enjoyed working with Rebecca and the Solhaven team and would gladly collaborate with them again on future projects

AVOID THIS PLACE
Disorganized Management & Terrible Build Quality
MANAGEMENT & COLLECTIONS NIGHTMARE:
I am beyond frustrated with this management company. I moved out on May 27th with a utility balance. When I asked about paying it, management explicitly told me to wait for my settlement statement and that my deposit would cover it. Instead, they sent me to collections on June 18th—not even 30 days later!
They lied straight to my face. This collections mark hit my rental record, causing me to lose out on a new apartment. When I called the collection agency, they said it takes 30 to 60 days to clear, even though I could have just paid management directly when I asked. If you move out, expect them to tank your credit and rental history. They've cycled through three property managers, and the current team is incredibly disorganized and clueless.
TERRIBLE APARTMENT LAYOUT & WORKMANSHIP:
Crooked Building: The workmanship is awful. The entire building leans. My dishwasher leaked constantly because of the slant, and when I cook, my eggs literally slide to one side of the pan.
Tiny Layout: The living room is too small for a standard couch and barely fits two people. There is no dining room—just a tiny counter by the kitchen sink that fits two chairs.
No Hot Water: They use the tiniest electric water heater I’ve ever seen. You constantly run out of hot water and have to meticulously schedule showers around laundry.
Awful HVAC: The central air is garbage. The bedrooms were 20 to 25 degrees warmer than the living room due to terrible ductwork. My electric bill was over $250/month for a tiny apartment.
HIDDEN FEES & AMENITIES:
The "20% Markup": Expect your monthly bill to be about 20% higher than base rent due to hidden fees. The mandatory "media package" is grossly overpriced; you pay double for internet bundled with a "smart home" system that constantly breaks down (they eventually just disconnected mine). The dog park is a joke.
Parking Extortion: They charge a premium for parking and guest parking (there is no street parking available). Yet, when people constantly parked in my reserved spot, management refused to authorize the tow company to remove them. You pay for a service you don’t get.
Package & Delivery Disaster: The building security is poorly thought out. Drivers can't get in without a key fob, so packages are either left scattered everywhere or stolen/returned. There is no buzz-in system, meaning you have to ride the elevator down every single time a guest, food delivery, or courier arrives.
This place is extremely overpriced, poorly constructed, and managed by people who will actively hurt your rental future. Save yourself the massive headache and stay far away.
Usually, when I send a maintenance report, these people show up very quickly and take care of the problem or try to figure out what to do next. They’re very kind respectful and I feel safe with them in my home. But highly recommend them.!

I lived at Solhavn Apartments for about a year, and unfortunately my overall experience was very frustrating. Throughout my time there, the elevators were constantly breaking down, which became a major inconvenience. During the summer, Building C also seemed to have a serious mosquito problem. You could barely open a window or door without mosquitoes flooding into your apartment.
The most frustrating part, however, was receiving a call from a collections agency on 05/22 stating that I had been sent to collections, followed by an email notice on 05/24, even though I made sure my remaining balance was fully paid before moving out. Dealing with calls and emails regarding a balance I do not owe has been extremely stressful and disappointing.
That being said, I do want to recognize Jada in the leasing office. She was always friendly, positive, and genuinely kind to residents. Every interaction with her was pleasant, and she stood out as one of the few consistently positive parts of living there.
Overall, management clearly has some serious issues they need to address. Based on my experience, I would not recommend living here.
