  The property is modernized, beautiful and up to date. Cleanliness is accentuated here,action is swiftly taken to any debris that is littered. Offering a centralized mail room, fitness center that is 24/7. A business room, event center, laundry room and pool. BBQ pits with gazebos and fields for sports and picnics. Staff is amicable, ambitious and met with great alacrity regarding resident cocerns.

  I love the complex. The complex is really quiet. The office staff is very nice. I’m also pleased with the matinence staff. The amnesties that are offered here are really nice.

  Not What They Advertise I’m leaving this review because I feel future residents deserve to know what living here is actually like—not because I was offered a chance to win a gift card or asked to leave a “good review". The biggest issue is the lack of response from the office staff. Problems are repeatedly reported, yet very little seems to actually get done. The office is constantly “closed” or unavailable when residents need assistance, and it often feels like complaints are simply ignored rather than addressed. The smell of marijuana is a major issue throughout this complex. It can regularly be smelled outside and even from the parking lot, and residents should be prepared for the possibility of smelling it around their home and throughout the property. Parking is another ongoing problem. There are times when finding a parking space is extremely difficult. There are also vehicles that appear to have been sitting broken down for extended periods of time, despite the property claiming to have a towing company. The overall cleanliness of the property is disappointing. Garbage is frequently left around the complex, dumpsters are regularly overflowing, and the property can look and smell extremely unpleasant. This is supposed to be somewhere people call home, yet the condition of the common areas often does not reflect that. The gates are another ongoing problem. They are frequently broken or left open, which raises legitimate concerns about security and access to the property. There are also frequent police visits to the complex, yet the office staff often seems completely unaware or unwilling to acknowledge the ongoing issues residents are experiencing. Overall, I would strongly encourage anyone considering moving here to look beyond the positive reviews and actually visit the property at different times of day before signing a lease. Ask current residents about their experiences and pay attention to the smell, parking, cleanliness, gates, and condition of the property. A gift card in exchange for a positive review does not change the reality of what resident's experience. Residents deserve a clean, safe, well-maintained place to live and an office staff that actually responds when problems are reported.

  549 River Oaks is definitely a place I call home. One of the things I appreciate most is the staff. They are friendly, professional, and willing to assist when residents have questions or concerns. It makes a big difference knowing that you can reach out when you need help and feel heard. I also enjoy the community atmosphere. Having a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained place to come home to gives me peace of mind. I appreciate the effort that goes into creating an environment where residents can feel comfortable and proud of where they live. Overall, I’m grateful for my experience at Five 49 River Oaks. No community is perfect, but what stands out to me is the effort the staff puts into making residents feel valued. I’m happy to call this place home, and I would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a great place to live!

  I HATE THIS PLACE. SAME CHEAP AIR FILTER WAS NOT CHANGED FOR 8 MONTHS, THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO DECORATE YOUR PATIO, THE OFFICE SIGN DOOR IS CLOSED QUITE A BIT, WHEN YOU RENEW YOUR LEASE YOU DON'T GIVE AN INCENTIVE, DON'T SHOW NO APPRECIATION FOR YOU RENEWING, THEY HAVE THE GARAGES ASSIGNED IN THE MOST INCONVENIENT WAY AS POSSIBLE, YOU CAN LIVE IN BUILDING 6 IN YOUR GARAGE ASSIGNED TO YOU IS CLOSE TO BUILDING 20 WAY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PROPERTY, THE MANAGEMENT OFFICE TRIED TO BE RUDE AT TIMES BUT I'M NOT THE ONE THAT YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH THAT TYPE OF FOOLISHNESS. DEFINITELY THE WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX I'VE EVER LIVED IN.
