I have had a wonderful experience staying in this apartment. It has all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay, they even added a bunch of amenities that I never knew I needed! The location of the apartment is in a prime location without being crowded. Sabryna (the manager) is very professional, genuinely cared about the residents’ comfort. Luis and the maintenance team are very helpful and always cares for resolving any issues quickly and efficiently. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a well-maintained and well-managed place to stay.

The location is convenient and the apartments themselves are nice, but actually living here was beyond frustrating. I had a 2-bedroom unit, and one of the bedrooms was so hot that it was essentially unlivable. I submitted service requests, but the issue was never properly resolved. It was really disappointing paying for a two-bedroom while only being able to comfortably use one. My electric bill was extremely high every month, around $250+ for a two-bedroom. Even though we were not home much and did everything we could to keep it down. But something was wrong with the unit where the AC was working too hard. We moved and don’t have a single electric bill over $130. Another major issue was water leaking into the apartment. Every time it rained even moderately, my kitchen and laundry room would end up covered in water. I submitted multiple requests for this and was repeatedly told that a contractor would need to come out “if it keeps happening,” despite the fact that it continued throughout my ENTIRE lease. I also submitted multiple service requests regarding my refrigerator leaking and freezing all of my food. This issue was never fully resolved. At one point, I was told to buy something on Amazon to temporarily fix it myself. ?? After the whole year of complaining, it was finally replaced once I already moved out. We moved out early and were paying rent in two places because we couldn’t bear staying longer. Due to these ongoing issues, we ultimately felt forced to move out because the unit became difficult to comfortably live in and fully use. That being said, the community itself is generally quiet and feels safe, and the front office staff has always been kind in person. However, I reached out multiple times regarding consideration for a rent credit due to these ongoing unresolved issues and received no response for months. I finally received a response after many emails and 3 months later , and they somehow came up with that $150 was fair for everything I endured. ???? Better than nothing and I am glad something at least was offered, but it felt not even close to what was fair since I paid for a whole extra bedroom that was not used, 100+ extra every month with my electric company due to them never fixing my AC issues, having to buy foods that are still good if they get frozen, the fridge always leaking water, every time it rained was a huge inconvenience, and ultimately feeling forced to move out and pay rent in 2 places. Doesn't equate to $150 in my opinion. I really do think this place has the potential to be great, which is why it is disappointing that our experience turned out this way.

Great people to work with from the front office to the maintenance, and really cool technological updates. They have added a lot of amenities near the back of the complex. Fair rates. A lot better than my previous apartment complex. Got to take a star away for move-in condition.

I absolutely love this property. It’s nice and quiet with plenty of room to walk the dog. The women in the front office are very welcoming and helpful with any information I’ve needed. The apartment itself is sizeable and comfortable.

I moved from Houston to Victoria and I contacted “ The colony” and spoke with Tammy, she got me into an amazing apartment within a few days. Which was perfect, since I only had a week to move down before I started my job. I have been here for two years now and it has been nothing but amazing from the management and maintenance. Management has always been great to me especially Tammy. She even went out her way and looked out for my mail when I was recovering from heart surgery last summer. I highly recommend living here and it’s conveniently located as well.
