TLDR:Massive water leak since April that still is not fixed. Mold is growing under the wet carpet. Maintenance only does bandaid fixes and management does not care about tenant health. We have been paying for a 2 bedroom but can only use half of it. Do not move here.
I originally really loved this apartment but this experience completely ruined it. We have had a leak since April and water is still pouring in as of July. When it first started they just gave us a fan. We knew something was wrong because of the awful smell. We complained about the odor and they brushed us off saying it was just the plastic under the carpet. I trusted my gut and lifted the carpet myself and found fuzzy white mold growing all over the tack strips along the edge of the room. Mold also started to grow on the walls and they just painted over it.
Management replies to emails but it is just a lot of back and forth with no real solutions. They sealed a crack outside and blamed the roof as well at first but then changed their story. I honestly think they have no idea where the water is actually coming from.
After I threatened to break our lease they finally came to talk to us. They hired a cheap outside company to replace the moldy tack strips but they completely left the wet contaminated carpet right where it was. I told them not to do that if the outside leak was not fixed. Sure enough it rained the past few days and the water came right back in.
This apartment is a huge health hazard. I have a history of mold illness and this place made me sick multiple times. My baby was only 5 months old when this started and he is 8 months now. No infant should be living in this toxic environment.
Our second bedroom has been completely unusable since about halfway through our lease. It was our baby's room. I would have just paid for a 1 bedroom if I knew this would happen. They finally offered to move us to a different unit but our lease is up at the end of September anyway so why would I pack up and move now? They clearly only care about avoiding vacancies instead of taking care of their tenants. Keep your family safe and look somewhere else.
I believe the reason why there's water in that room all the time is because water has been getting in through the foundation. A lot of mud has been washed away and it's probably been going on. Foundation undermining can cause leaks and structural failure. Shocker. Also I put in a work order couple days ago and got a response but no one has come to my knowledge and I haven't gotten an update besides a text message acknowledging they got the work order. I came home today after being gone for a couple days and the entire apartment now smells like mold and the second you open that door it smells awful. The paint that they use to cover up the mold is mixing with it as well because more than likely that wall got super wet again.

If you have absolutely no where to go then this is the place for you. People don't pick up after their dogs, maintenance dosent keep up with the bags, management will blaim you for all their issues. A maintenance worker told me that when someone moved out they had an infestation and did not let the rest of the building know. The roaches come through the vent, and spraying attracts them more. They shut off the water because their pips are old. When my refrigerator broke it took them a week to replace and wanted to give me one from an infested apartment. Only reason I didn't get it was because I speack spanish and talked to the maintenance people. I told management that people went in and saw the damage that the roaches did and she Kaylee I belive her name told me to mind my own business and to not ask about their infestation problems. She then told me that I was the problem and tried to say my apartment was a hazard and came in and saw how clean I kept my place. Saying having food in my pantry is the problem. She had the nerve to say it's me but that's okay. I already warned the new people that moved in to never forget to call for spraying. Oh and make sure you move everything away from the walls and ask them to spray behind stuff and actully be home when they come or they won't do it. Ask from them to spray outside and if your neighbors aren't having some kind of process done the roaches aren't going anywhere. You aren't allowed to have a grill at the apartment per city ordinance.

The price is fair. The location is great and will be even better once all the construction is completed. Here’s what sucks: #1 Cockroach infestation! And, what made it worse is the manager’s unwillingness to address the situation. Thank God, I had somebody who knew what to do. My apartment is virtually cockroach Free!! #2 Not all units have high-end appliances. As a matter of fact, if you want the lower priced units, you may get refrigerators that have broken drawers or missing racks. Or you may get a stove that doesn’t get enough electricity. #3 Management doesn’t really know the status of the apartments nir do they care or inspect.
The on-site manager likes to talk down to people and yell at tenants as if she was her mother. I seriously think that she needs to take some type of medication for her personality problem. Twice she has yelled at me and not once has she reached out to ask if the situations were resolved. If the management don’t change, I’d likely will not renew my lease.

Besides the location, I would not recommend and have told potential residents as such.
Appliances tend to fail often and you will go days or weeks without repair.
My fridge has been leaking for months and even shut off at one point and I lost all my food.
Currently trying to get my oven fixed as it does not turn off and its almost impossible to reach anyone in regards to these concerns, and staff gets very upset when asked about following up causing more delay.
If you can ignore that, go for it
The location is ideal.
