Little to no notification about move in details. We literally got notified to load an app required for move in while driving to the apartment. There was no signage or notification about where to park for move in. No prior notification about move in day activities. I found out the next day via Instagram. Hall posters with QR code on how to access apartment wifi never got put up and were found in the apartment office when I asked about it.. On the upside the helpers for move in were great and an unexpected surprise. Apartment was very nice and clean at move in. Looking forward to the next year at the Pointe.

Everything was going smoothly until it came to getting inside the room. I had to wait and didn’t have much time to figure out the app and download it. I waited a bit until we asked a nice man if we downloaded the right app and then told us to call the front desk to unlock it which I didn’t know. Other than that, everything else was great!

My son was here last year and it was terrible. When we moved in, the room was not cleaned. The apartment itself was a corner apartment with terrible lighting… nothing like the model during the tour. Very dingy and dark. I was not expecting this for a “luxury” apartment. His unit had mold issues which I believe to contribute to my son illnesses throughout that school year. The billing for utilities was a month delayed…at least. if you have any type of leak you won’t notice in a timely manner and will most likely have two large bills to deal with. There are many other apartment complexes to choose from and while this one seems to be a close location it is just not worth the money or your students health.

Summary: I lived at Pointe for two years, and while my first year was great, the property noticeably declined after it was bought out, with frequent elevator outages, security doors being left open, poor pool maintenance, and questionable “renovations.” Ultimately, the combination of declining service and a $200/month rent increase despite these issues made me strongly reconsider the value, and I would not recommend living here unless the rent were significantly lower. Full Story: I lived at Pointe for 2 years. The first year was fine and honestly I would have recommended living there. Sometime during my first year however they got bought out. I didn't start noticing changes till the summer in between the 2 years. It started with elevators constantly going down for weeks to even months at a time, doors including the garage door being left open, and the pool not being clean DURING SUMMER. They also started sending out emails that they are making "improvements" and "renovations" to the property. This was false with one exception. The claimed the gym was renovated and they had it closed for basically all of the summer. When they finally reopened they only added a very small yoga corner. They also claimed updated pool and pool room area. The only change I saw was swapping out furniture with cheaper furniture that was just newer. The only actual renovation that I saw was to their own office and the common area that is on the first floor of the apartment (which I admit was a nice renovation). After that the elevators continued to be down, doors continued to be open, and it didn't seem like the apartment I was living in my first year. The final breaking point though was when I was considering potentially resigning if they dropped my rent a little because of all the issues they were having. Nope instead they (specifically the property manager Ivan) said they were "renovating" the rooms and INCREASING RENT BY $200 A MONTH. I don't know how they get their metrics for pricing but after all of that I would not recommend living here unless rent was like $600.

Do not ever rent at this apartment complex. I would give this a 0 star rating if I could. I have seen this place run under multiple managers and each one is worst than the last. The only good thing about this complex is the proximity to campus. In the 3 years I have rented here, I have dealt with management that never returns emails or phone calls, a complex that always has elevators down or broken for sometimes months at a time, leaks in the ceiling in multiple rooms I have stayed in and so much more. I am now having to sue this complex for not returning security deposit more than a month after moving out. My room flooded while I was away and I received no communication of them moving all of my belongings throughout the apartment as well as what damage occurred. I was then sent an email stating that I had 48 hours to vacate with all of my belongings so that they could tear down the apartment and fix the water damage that their negligence caused. I hope someone reads this review and saves themselves the trouble of renting with this complex and especially dealing with the people that run it. Do not waste your money, time or sanity living here!!
