Avoid this apartment complex at all costs. The management is unbelievably incompetent and this was, without question, the worst renting experience I've ever had. They advertise a gated parking garage, yet the gates were routinely left open overnight, and my vehicle was broken into. Communication was practically nonexistent unless they wanted to collect money. We gave more than the required 60 days' notice before moving out, yet management still miscalculated the rent owed, seemingly unable to properly prorate a final month's balance. When I pointed out their error and offered to immediately pay the correct amount, they piled on additional fees instead of fixing their mistake. To make matters worse, the property has experienced multiple fires over the past year that displaced numerous residents, raising even more concerns about how this community is managed. From my experience, management showed little accountability, poor communication, and a complete lack of professionalism. I would strongly encourage anyone looking for an apartment to rent somewhere that is actually managed competently.

Lived here for 3 years. Rent paid in full each month, never missed a payment. A year after moveout I get notice from a debt collection agency that I owe a debt to this apartment for "damages/cleaning." I did the necessary touch ups (paint and wall repair with the paint they gave me, what a waste of a day) and fully cleaned the apartment. I was told the only thing would be the cleaning fee. When I did the walkout tour with the manager they said "you have one of the nicest kept apartments we've seen you'll just need to do touchups." This was done with Kacey and the leasing manager. Damages are nothing more specific than that, "damages" on the itemized billing. I call to ask what specifically they are referring to since I can no longer access the resident portal (moved out a year ago) and they tell me I have to direct all my questions to the third party. Only live here if you want them to hit you with a debt collection THAT THEY NEVER TOLD YOU ABOUT AND WILL LIE ABOUT THE CONDITION OF YOUR APARTMENT APPARENTLY to nickel and dime you. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. *edit After seeing their reply they should have assisted us before sending the account to collections since they never gave us notice that anything was wrong (email, mail, phone call, or text). An utter lack of communication and a complete lie from what the leasing staff told us before we left.

I would strongly encourage anyone considering living here to think twice. This has easily been the worst experience I have ever had with an apartment complex. My vehicle was broken into while parked in the garage, and despite the property advertising a gated parking area and stating in the lease that the gates would be closed during certain hours, they were repeatedly left open overnight. Instead of taking responsibility, management has consistently ignored concerns and been extremely difficult to communicate with. Calls and emails went unanswered, but somehow they were quick to respond when it came time to issue fines and additional charges. To make matters worse, we provided more than 60 days’ notice before moving out, and our final month’s rent was still calculated incorrectly. After disputing the incorrect amount and offering to immediately pay the correct balance, we were charged even more fees that management has refused to remove, even though the mistake was theirs. Residents should not have to worry about whether the security measures they were promised are actually being enforced, nor should they have to fight to correct billing errors that they didn’t create. I expected professionalism, accountability, and basic communication. Unfortunately, I experienced none of those things.

I’ve had a great experience living at The Mark Huebner Oaks! The property is always clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly, professional, and quick to help whenever you need anything. The amenities are nice, and the community feels safe and welcoming. One thing I really appreciate is how responsive the management team is—they genuinely care about their residents and work hard to make living here a positive experience. The location is also a huge plus, with plenty of shopping, restaurants, and everything you need just minutes away.

I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE CONSIDERING LIVING AT THE MARK TO THINK TWICE!!!!! The property had a serious cockroach infestation, and I was far from the only resident dealing with it. Multiple residents also experienced package theft, yet there seemed to be little done to address the issue. Not to mention the pool was green at times. The apartment had hidden mold, and every time it rained, water intruded into the unit. When I moved out, I proactively emailed management asking how to pay any balance I legitimately owed. I explained that my account needed to be corrected first because it included charges that did not belong to me. Despite this, my email was ignored. Instead of working with me, they sent my account to collections --even though I had clearly reached out and expressed my willingness to pay the correct amount once the billing errors were fixed-- The most frustrating part of this experience was the lack of communication and accountability. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend living at The Mark!!
