- DRDelilah RabagoJul 13, 20261.0I am sharing my experience with Dry Towels LLC, Clear Integrity Group, and The Crossings at Montrose Apartments because I believe my rights under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) were violated. After requesting the protections I believed I was entitled to under federal law, I was denied the ability to terminate my lease and move out without penalties, despite the circumstances I presented. Instead of receiving the protections I believed VAWA provides, I felt my concerns were dismissed and my request was not handled appropriately. In my opinion, the actions and decisions made by Dry Towels LLC, Clear Integrity Group, and The Crossings at Montrose Apartments failed to properly recognize and apply my rights under VAWA. I believe residents seeking protection under this law deserve compassion, fairness, and compliance with federal housing requirements—not additional financial burdens when requesting relief. Because of my experience, I will be filing formal complaints with the appropriate federal, state, and local agencies and pursuing legal action against Dry Towels LLC, Clear Integrity Group, The Crossings at Montrose Apartments, and any individuals or entities I believe are responsible. I intend to seek accountability and ensure that no one else experiences what I have. I encourage anyone renting from these companies to educate themselves about their rights under VAWA, keep detailed records of all communications, and advocate for themselves if they believe their rights are not being honored. Everyone deserves to have their legal protections respected.
