The maintenance service is horrible; they never fix anything, and you have to handle it yourself. Work orders magically show up as resolved, even though no one ever knocked on the door to make a repair.
One issue after another. Our move in list of items broken never got fixed from over a year ago. It got to the point where we didnt even call for maintenance issues because no one ever came to properly fix anything. It always takes weeks. We've had our windows fall out because of missing screws, our AC broke and it took days to fix in 90⁰ weather, I have multiple emails with Miranda but seem to only get immediate responses by asking for her managers information. (Which I never get from them) Our garage door is ALWAYS connecting to the new neighbors door and now its been weeks and they still haven't fixed it. We have come home to our garage door open with access to our unit and theres no urgency from the office. I have a young child and they dont seem to care that our garage opening at random times is an unsafe situation.
The gated community is a joke because the gate never works and is always kept open. Dog waste is never picked up or cleaned, just mowed over. Our area stinks. I would have gave one more star because my kid loves the pool but this summer its been pretty gross. There's algae by the fountain, bathroom area outside is locked and dirty. Ripped chairs thrown by the bathrooms. The pool is never clean now.

I normally do not leave reviews, but after seeing what my friend has gone through living here, I felt people should know before signing a lease.
This has honestly been one of the worst apartment experiences my friend has ever had. From the beginning, the apartment was not even move-in ready. There were dirty carpets, paint splattered all over the floors and cabinets, broken fixtures, damaged drawers, cigarette smells, wrong keys provided, and it even took weeks just to get the garage fob. The shower knob was broken on move-in day, and many of the issues looked like they had been ignored for a long time.
The biggest problem seems to be management and communication. Water outages happen constantly with little to no notice, maintenance requests can take months, and staff rarely communicate properly with residents or even with their own contractors. One repair company apparently showed up without warning, worked on the wrong dryer vent, damaged property in the process, and then denied responsibility.
The trash situation is also terrible. There is only one garbage compactor for the entire complex, and it overflows constantly. At times it reportedly looks more like a landfill than an apartment community.
I’ve lived in several apartments myself and have friends in many others, and this place stands out for all the wrong reasons. If you are apartment hunting, I would strongly encourage you to tour other properties before committing to this one.

If I could give The Anthonys at Canyon Springs zero stars, I would. This has been one of the worst living experiences I’ve ever had, especially for my first apartment. I ended up deleting my 5 star review because this place genuinely does NOT deserve it. This place is a facade. Do not trust the photos on the website because they genuinely do not look like the rooms in real life.
From DAY ONE, our apartment was not move-in ready. The garage clicker didn’t work, they gave us the wrong apartment key, our mail key on the butterfly app didn’t work, the carpet clearly was not professionally cleaned, the AC filter was disgusting and covered in dust, and the dryer vent outside was literally a fire hazard on top of that, a horrible paint job to the unit we were in. I’ve never felt so disappointed because the room they showed us was perfect and then we were placed in the back inside a unit that was filthy. It took MONTHS just to get the carpet cleaned and even longer for them to finally replace the filthy AC filter.
We specifically wanted the carpet and AC cleaned because the apartment constantly smelled like marijuana and cigarettes. Even our guests would complain about the smell. It was embarrassing to have people over.
On top of all of that, we’ve now had multiple issues caused during “maintenance” visits. A third-party maintenance worker came in and broke our dryer vent tubing, then reported to the front office that it was already broken — which is false. Our dryer is brand new. He also left the entire area messy and unfinished. Now we’re being told it won’t be fixed until Sunday, leaving us stuck dealing with it for days.
They STILL never properly fixed the patio dryer vent issue either and just left it incomplete. I don’t trust maintenance coming into my apartment anymore because things don’t get fixed correctly — they get damaged, left dirty, or ignored completely.
To make things worse, they rarely give proper notice before showing up and expect you to leave your apartment for hours while they work. One time they left muddy footprints all over my favorite rug. I was furious.
There were also water outages here that made life incredibly inconvenient. You never realize how frustrating it is until you suddenly can’t shower, wash dishes, do laundry, or even properly get ready for school or work.
The complex itself is filthy too. There is dog poop everywhere and the trash compactor is constantly overflowing to the point where people just pile their garbage around it, creating literal mountains of trash. Of course none of this was shown during the tour. We were completely blindsided once we actually moved in.
Now let’s talk about management — absolutely horrible. Talking to management here is like talking to a brick wall. NOTHING gets resolved. The excuse that maintenance is “too busy” does not explain months-long delays for basic fixes that never get completed.
For the past 7 months, my boyfriend and I have been dealing with nonstop banging from our neighbor’s kid every single morning. Every morning, he would play his music loud and bang on the wall. It was my last year of college and it was extremely difficult to rest and study for my finals to graduate because he would be so annoying. There was a point where he would play his music out loud when he would walk his dog and cuss out loud. Now, I’m a nursing student and still dealing with this banging. Sleep is already hard enough to get.
We have reported this issue NUMEROUS times to Miranda and even law enforcement. Miranda told us they would move them to another unit, but nothing had happened that it will take time… 7 months… we’ve been dealing with this.. I have videos and evidence documenting everything. At this point it genuinely feels like nothing is being done.
This place completely ruined what was supposed to be an exciting first experience moving out on my own. The management does not care about residents, maintenance is careless, and problems are ignored unless they directly benefit staff. I absolutely regret moving here. I gave up all of the hope.
