  I recently moved to The Abbey at medical center apartment complex, and this is the first time I’ve met someone as helpful, cooperative, patient, and kind as Alexandra. She went out of her way to assist me and made my move-in process very easy and stress-free. I truly appreciate all of her help.

  Always remember that a bad review is based off of a 1 time issue with no context to why theyre standard was higher in the first place. I found the Abbey 3 years ago and the ONLY reason I left is because my kids need more space. In 2023-2025 the management got on my last nerves! But the property and my unit was still great. Its an apartment and people tend to forget that there are norms that come with it. When I had maintenance issues they were always done in a timely manner and correctly🙏🏽 the management now is amazing, very reasonable, personable and genuine about what she does. They host events for the residents monthly, communicate everything and the property is well kept. I tragically lost my mom 2 weeks after moving in and the Abbey has been my safe place for the past 3 years. It was very hard to leave and I will always remember the first place that felt like home for me and I hope my unit brings that feelings to anyone that walks through the door. P.S the sunset from the balcony was worth the rent alone

  Be wary of the 5 start reviews, if the review mentions someone’s name that review was solicited. Careful when renting out a first floor apartment on building 8. It gets flooded during the rain. Makes it hard coming home or leaving when it’s raining. A lot of gutters in various building are broken including the one on building 8. Water falls heavily right on the stairs because of the gap in the gutters. Stagnant water accumulates and stays there for a few days, creating lots of mosquito’s.

  My brother just moved into the Abbey at Medical center. I love this place, the office staff are very friendly and helpful. The grounds are clean and the landscaping is very neat. I appreciate that there is not overflowing trash in the dumpster. This is one of the better apartments I have seen in San Antonio. I can't wait until my lease is up. I believe that property will be my new home.
