  I love Sunset Canyon this is a great community. Christina, Billy, Bella & Chelsea do an excellent job taking care of the residents. Highly recommend to anyone looking in the San Antonio area.

  DO NOT RENT HERE. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. TOOK OVER A MONTH AND HALF FOR ME TO MOVE IN AFTER SIGNING MY LEASE DUE TO THE APT INVESTED WITH ROCHES. I HAD TO KEEP CALLING FOR AN UPDATE AND GO CHECK ON IT DAILY TO SEE IF EVERYTHING WAS BEING DONE. THE OFFICE WOULDNT REACH OUT TO ME. IT WAS VERY FRUSTRATING THAT SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN NO CLUE TO NOT GO THROUGH WITH IT. WAS TOLD I COULD BACK OUT BUT IT WOULD TAKE OVER A MONTH TO GET A REFUND. SO I DECIDED TO STAY HOPING THEY WOULD GET IT TOGETHER. I WENT ONLINE AND SAW ANOTHER UNIT OPEN WAS TOLD IF THEY GET ME INTO THAT ONE IT WOULDNT BE SAME PRICE. I WAS WILLING TO DO THAT SINCE I ALREADY HAD ALREADY PAID AND KEPT EXTENDING MY MOVE OUT FROM MY OLD APT ALONG WITH GETTING A STORAGE UNIT. FINALLY AFTER OVER A MONTH I GOT KEYS, COME TO FINE OUT DIDNT SAVE ANY MONEY THEY CHARGE RIDICULOUS FEES FOR THE AMENITIES WHICH IS TWO POOLS THAT ARE ALWAYS DIRTY AND A LITTLE BBQ AREA OH AND A GYM. WHY ARE WE PAYING TO USE THE GYM AND POOL WHEN WE PAY A HIGH AMOUNT IN RENT. THEY OVER CHARGE AND ITS NOT WORTH IT. ALSO MAINTENANCE ENTER MY HOME WITHOUT NOTICE WHILE MY DAUGHER WAS HOME. WHEN I CALL THE OFFICE THE LITTLE GIRL GAVE ME ATTITUDE AND WAS TRYING TO JUSTIFY HIM GOING IN THERE WHEN I DIDNT PUT AN ORDER SAYING ITS AN MISTAKE. IF I DIDNT HAVE A CAMERA I BELIEVE THEY WOULDNT HAVE LET ME KNOW AT ALL. SHE KEPT MAKING IT SOUND LIKE ITS NO BIG DEAL WHEN IT IS. I GAVE 2 MONTHS NOTICE I WAS NOT GONNA STAY HERE AFTER MY LEASE WAS UP AND THEN COME JUNE ALL OF A SUDDEN I START GETTING CALLS FROM THE OFFICE SAYING MY DOG WAS BARKING A LOT MIND YOU IT WAS DURING THE DAY AND HE WAS NOT BARKING AS THE MADE IT SEEM. THEY WERE ALSO CALLING TO SEE IF I WOULD BE WILLING TO MOVE OUT SOON CAUSE THEY NEEDED MY APT FOR THE NEXT PERSON. SAYING I COULD MOVE SOONER OR THEY NEED TO GET IN THERE TO LOOK AROUND. ITS SUMMER SO MY DAUGHTER IS OUT OF SCHOOL AND THEY WANTED TO GO IN THERE ALSO WAS PACKING SO BOXES EVERYTHNG NOT SURE WHAT THEY WANTED TO LOOK AT AND NOT ON ME CAUSE YA HAVE A QUICK TURN AROUND. AFTER IT TOOK ME FORVER TO GET IN THERE DUE TO THE ROCHES EVERYWHERE THEY ARE NOW RUSHING ME OUT. THE MANAGER LEFT A FEW VOICEMAILS AND EMAILS ASKING TO GET ACCESS TO MY APT. I DID LET THEM KNOW I CAN TURN IN KEYS ON THE 27TH LEASE ENDED ON THE 30TH. 2 WEEKS AFTER MOVING OUT I GET AN EMAIL FROM COLLECTIONS THEY SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS FOR A 12 BALANCE I DIDNT EVEN KNOW I HAD. I FINALLY EMAIL TODAY REQUESTING A FINAL MOVE OUT LETTING THEM KNOW I WAS SENT TO COLLECTIONS AND I GET BACK "I understand your frustration, particularly regarding receiving a collections notice before having clarity on the final account. We certainly understand how concerning that can be. Please review the attached itemized statement, which provides a breakdown of the final account activity." HOW CAN YOU SEND SOMEONE TO COLLECTIONS IF THEY DIDNT KNOW THERE WAS A BALANCE DUE. THIS COMPLEX IS UNPROFESSIONAL. ALSO STATING I ONLY GOT CREDIT FOR 3 DAYS KEYS WERE TURNED IN FIRST THING MONDAY MORNING. IF I COULD GIVE LESS THAN 1 STAR I WOULD. THIS WAS THE WORSE PLACE TO LIVE.

  Sunset Canyon has been my home for well over a decade. Office personnel have always been professional and courteous, keeping the community informed about everything from upcoming meet and greets to water main breaks. I have relatively few needs. I am easy on the wear and tear, but the few maintenance requests I have made were handled promptly and professionally. Parks and schools are close by and there is an HEB in literally every direction.

  Christina at Sunset Canyon has made our experience completely worth it!! I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking. Christina is very fast and responsive and genuinely cares for your needs!!! 5 stars from me!!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don't usually leave reviews, but Christina Morales deserves one. My partner and I had already made the decision not to renew our lease at Sunset Canyon. We had applied elsewhere, paid the application fees, and were getting ready to move. Then Christina stepped in. She took the time to really listen to our concerns, answer every question we had, and help us explore options we didn't even know were available. At no point did we feel pressured—just genuinely cared about. Because of her kindness, patience, and outstanding communication, we ended up deciding to stay for a third year and move into a smaller, more affordable unit instead. In today's world, it's rare to find someone who truly cares about the people they work with, but Christina does. She's been amazing throughout our two years here, and she's a big reason why we're choosing to stay. Sunset Canyon is lucky to have her, and we couldn't be more grateful for everything she's done for us. Thank you so much Christina!!!
