This community has been my home for 18 years. It was the closest mobile home community to my mother in laws home in the area before she passed. I've had some amazing neighbors that have truly made this place feel like home, it's nice knowing you have extra eyes watching out for everyone's safety and security. Pros * Having somewhat of a yard and no neighbors above or below you is better than apt life. * they rent solitaire homes which are some of the best built manufactured homes on the market. (I use to sell mobile homes) * pricing for their rental units are reasonable compared to alternative rentals and square footage. * the area is NOT the greatest location but very accessible to our jobs and shopping. * the operators of this community do the best they can to keep the aesthetics of the place up to par. (They do have to get after tenants that treat the place trashy and I'm okay with that) Cons * When i first moved in, the lot rent was about $200 a month but over the years has escalated to about $750 which includes yard cutting. ( I don't really have grass because the trees on my lot prohibit vegetation growth and every year I bag 30+ (40 gallon trash bags) and until 2 years ago was left to remove the bags on my own. (So kind of a pro now that they help with removal.) * Some of the community members don't care how they allow their property to look and it shows. * We have had our share of criminal activity in the community and outside the community but it's sadly becoming the norm in all parts of San Antonio. All in all I've seen managers come and go. I pay online so I don't really ever meet the people in the office. Their work shows when you look around the community. Some things that would be nice for your community. Fixing the wood fence around the community it makes this place feel separated from the surrounding area, especially having to walk out your door and see the neighbors in the apartments through their sliding glass door. It makes me wonder which of those neighbors were the ones throwing trash bags over the fence at one point? Consider moving your dog area away from the kid area, poop and playing children are not a good combo. Find a better place to park your community dumpster by the mail boxes, it looks super trashy over there and there are residents who live right there. Yall already fixed the playground once since I've lived here but it's back to looking hideous, not that I have a child that would play there but some of these kids in the community need a place to play and a shadescape for them would be amazing. It would also be nice to fix the lighting in the park, some areas at night are very dark and we have people that are walking home from a long day, it would be a safety measure to brighten up several areas of the park. I did show a maintenance man how dark the area gets and asked if they could fix the light by the office, he didn't even know there was an existing light pole there. On top of that, fence in your specific dog area and provide lighting their as well, you can even install a camera system to see who's NOT picking up their doggy doo. I don't think my suggestions are unreasonable and again I've been here for about 2 decades so hopefully my input is valued. Are there costs tied to it? Yes! But the people in your community are worth the requests that I've suggested especially if your trying to compete with all the new fancy apartments that have all the things I've mentioned. Sincerely, Just a renter of the land.

I love Rengcy village. It's a quiet and clean place. Compared to apartments you have more privacy and your own private parking spot.
