i shouldn’t even have to be on here but these people running this whole operation will try their hardest to sap every last penny from you meanwhile all this money doesn’t even go to the complex half the time and i know this bc they can never keep that pool open for more than 5 days which costs more money btw and on top of that they tried to charge my mother 400 for normal wear and tear which by law is not something you can charge someone for they even had our balcony railing missing screws one whole side This place is run by adults and they’re having a 15-year-old tell them that their crap is out of order. disappointing

My experience here from the start was disappointing. Parking is a NIGHTMARE. If you get home after 7pm, good luck finding a spot. There are clearly not enough spaces for the number of apartments. Trash and wildlife are another major issue. The same residents routinely leave trash out for hours or days, attracting raccoons, porcupines, and even coyotes into the stairwell and parking lot. I reported this multiple times, but the issue was never resolved. My dog was injured by a porcupine, resulting in a $1,500 vet bill. Billing and communication with management have been extremely frustrating. I had to dispute unexplained utility charges and repeatedly contacted the office through voicemail and the resident portal with no response for weeks. When I finally reached the property manager, I still couldn’t get a clear explanation of the recurring charge. It was not clearly labeled as any type of fee. I found out from CPS that they mistakenly stopped my service after only a week. CPS confirmed it was an error on their end, and I immediately contacted the property to prevent incorrect billing. My request for reconsideration of the charges due to the circumstances was ignored. 8 months later, I was told I didn’t have renters insurance, despite having an active policy throughout my entire lease and proof that I had paid for it before move-in. Instead of contacting me to verify the policy information, charges were added to my account. I reached out and provided the information immediately. Never received confirmation and had to follow up. They still ended up charging me for the 1 week that THEY didn’t have it on file. 🙃 It took 3 attempts over a week to receive the form required to submit my notice to vacate. I work during their business hours, so not answering the phone and not responding to emails for days made simple requests unnecessarily difficult. It was also very disappointing that the property manager, Giselle, will blame her other staff members instead of taking any accountability herself. The property also runs promotions incentivizing residents to leave 5-star reviews, which undermines the credibility of the review system and misleads prospective tenants. I’ve also seen responses from management questioning whether reviewers were actually residents and implying reviews were false or reportable. That is unprofessional and does nothing to address the issues residents are raising. Pet waste stations were another ongoing problem. Multiple stations would remain without bags or the trash part overflowing with poop bags for WEEKS at a time. At one point, three stations went more than six weeks without being refilled. I called once to ask about it and was told to submit a maintenance request. I did and it still took over another week to fill it…The property routinely looked and smelled unsanitary as a result, despite advertising itself as pet-friendly. Overall, I moved in excited about the community, but the lack of communication, poor follow-through, billing issues, property maintenance, and dismissive management responses made living here unnecessarily stressful. I cannot recommend these apartments in good faith. For comparison, I previously lived at Indian Hollow Apartments for seven years and never experienced issues like these. Their staff consistently answered calls, responded promptly, worked with residents, and maintained the property well. I would highly recommend looking there instead if you’re considering apartments in San Antonio.

I begged and begged them to get this mold out of my home. They would paint over it. It would come back. I had to leave after 4 1/2 years of staying here they would not do something about the Mold after I moved out they charge me over $5000. I will never ever go back to this apartment complex not only that my car was towed or broken into over 10 times… Stay away!!!

My husband and I went to tour last week and Chelsea was sweet and very knowledgeable. We saw the amenities and she informed us of the specials. We will be applying here and calling Mission Hills home.

Incredibly slimy way of doing business. I had to break my lease and paid all the appropriate fees, and months later they claim I owe them another 1200 dollars because of the “amazing deal I got when I signed up”. In addition to them keeping my deposit despite me leaving my apartment in great condition. These folks will just nickel and dime you to death. These folks also don’t take security seriously at all. I caught a man breaking into my car and chased him off. I gave the office the time and date of when it happened and they never bothered to pull any footage from the security cameras despite me asking them to. There’s also an overly lax policy regarding parking, so I had to park at the leasing office dozens of times when I’d get home late from work. In addition to all of this, there’s dog poop everywhere because these people don’t empty the dog poop trash cans OR refill the bags. Absolute greed paired with carelessness This was the worst place I’ve ever lived
