  My family and I have been here for a month now. We are extremely happy we chose this community! Anastasia, Denise, and the entire staff have been fantastic from day one. The maintenance team handles Service requests promptly. I highly recommend Hilltop at Shavano.

  I haven't been here that long but it's hasn't been great, needed a new airfilter took almost 2 months. The hot tub don't work, the washers and dryers are nasty. Not to mention the bugs in the kitchen I have to spray every week to keep them gone. Also the 1604 road noise at night is awful. Just be mindful definitely not really worth the bucks. Also the break ins around here is insane

  I have lived in 4 different units, all different floor plans at this complex over the past 5-6 years. Maintenance has always been amazing, resolving issues sometimes even the same day I put in requests. On my 3rd unit, I had a nightmare experience with the move-in conditions, and it took half a year to get everything sorted out (that management team isn't there anymore). I was considering moving to a new place, but Anastasia and the new team gave me full confidence in staying at Hilltop :) She let me inspect the unit fully prior to moving in, and was very kind and helpful throughout the entire process.

  I’ve been living here for 3 years and the constant change in the office staff is ridiculous! But I think they finally got it together… there has been more communication from the office. They seem like they really care. Maintenance guys are always ready to help us out. I’ll be moving out in 60days I just want more amenities that’s I don’t think will happen here. I can’t wrap my head around my fob not working properly and not being able to get in the gates after work or in the gym. Gym by the way is great! When you can get in

  When I moved in I was told my apartment was an upgrade. ( painted over the original cabinets with cheap paint that scratches off) I was told I’d have stainless steel appliances and ended up getting the black appliances. After complaining that I’m paying for an “upgrade” I was able to transfer. Now I am in a roach infested building. I had to buy outlet covers to prevent them from coming in thru the wall outlets and had to cover up any holes because they didn’t do a good job at inspecting. constant AC issues the supervisor lacks knowledge & experience on fixing the air conditioner and continues to add Freon that will last 2-3 days and we are back to the same issue There’s only 1 pool for this big property and it’s always dirty Trash makes the property smell bad Maintenance lives on site you see golf carts parked by their building all the time We have heard one of the maintenance guys having domestic violence incidents and nothing has been done this causes discomfort to those of us that live here We had to pick up our mail at local post office because mail boxes are constantly being broken into I was basically forced to just get a PO Box. gates are either left open or won’t open office will not answer the phone Vehicles are not safe here be prepared to have broken windows after seeing all the new reviews I felt I had to speak up on the truth of living here Prices may seem good for the size at first but the issues that come with the apartment are not worth it. Keep in mind these apartments are over 20 years old.
