  I was honestly reading the reviews and was a little hesitant about stopping in for a walk-in tour because I’ve been apartment shopping all over this area. One thing I will say I have seen Carmel at Deerfield advertised ALL over Facebook way more than any other apartment complex. I’m in like 9 or 10 apartment pages, and I swear I see them every day. The “Home of SAPD” posts definitely caught my attention. I’m really glad I decided to stop by. The minute I walked in, I was greeted by BOTH the manager and assistant manager, which already felt welcoming. They gave me pricing info and some details, snacks and water and the manager took me around the property first. The pool was beautiful, families were out swimming, kids were playing, people were BBQing it honestly felt alive and like a real community, not just another apartment complex trying to look pretty online. The pickleball court looked brand new too. What really got me was the assistant manager. She literally came over to continue my tour AFTER helping the maintenance guy move an AC condenser 😅 Like… what kind of team actually does that? That told me a lot right there. She showed us both the classic units and the renovated ones. The classics are definitely older carpet, crème older appliances, a little dated a lot dated 😂 but honestly the pricing reflects that, and they’re affordable. The renovated apartments were really nice though fresh, modern, clean, and updated. But the biggest thing for me? These ladies were REAL. It never once felt like some fake sales pitch where they’re just trying to get a SELL TO FILL THEIR POCKETS UP! They made us feel comfortable, welcome, and honestly like we mattered. Like we’d known them forever. My girlfriend and I are moving to San Antonio in December, and while we still have a couple other places to check out, I felt like I had to leave a real review because this place genuinely surprised me in the best way. Beautiful apartments, great specials, welcoming team, and just an overall “feels like home” kind of vibe. Pretty sure this is where we’ll be applying 🤘🏻

  Been here a little over a year, previously I would not have suggested anyone move here and specifically did not. However, the new manager has made some really positive changes in a very short amount of time. I imagine she'll likely continue that positive trajectory. I've lived in apartments pretty much exclusively for the past 20 years and can honestly say the new manager is the first Apartment manager I've met with whom I am truly impressed. Usually apartment managers are kind of all the same anywhere. However, "Mak," is quite impressive and would be a valuable asset to anyplace that she chose to work--lucky for us it's here!

  Mak and Nova are truly amazing! They are always willing to answer any questions and step in to help whenever needed. My family and I just moved into this apartment complex at the end of February, and we haven’t had any issues at all. Maintenance is quick and always on top of things whenever something comes up. At my previous apartment complex, we definitely did not receive this level of care especially after Mak and Nova left. Their presence really makes a difference because they stay on top of everything and genuinely care. They treat you like more than just a resident they make you feel like family, and I absolutely love that. If you’re considering living here, I highly recommend it… go for it! 😊

  My boyfriend and I just recently moved in here at deerfield. As this is our first apartment, Nova Fisher provided us the most kind, helpful and trusting experience. She was always glad to help and I'm really glad she will be the one in the office when we need help. We are excited to spend our time here at deerfield!
