  Five-Star Review: Alcove at Alamo Heights I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Alcove at Alamo Heights. I’ve been here about a year and a half and am approaching my second year, and I plan to stay long term. It truly feels like home. The apartments are beautifully appointed, with modern kitchens, stainless-steel appliances, fresh paint and fresh carpet before move-in, and a very thorough cleaning. The large kitchen island is one of my favorite features. It’s incredibly useful not only for cooking, but also for things like gift wrapping during the holidays or birthdays, crafts, and other projects. The stove is electric rather than gas, which is simply a personal preference, but it certainly hasn’t diminished my enjoyment of the apartment. The storage space is phenomenal! The closets are almost as large as the bedrooms, and there are so many closets throughout the apartment that you may not even need to rent an off-site storage unit. There’s a coat closet near the entryway, another large closet between the kitchen and bedroom, and plenty of additional storage. The pantry could be a little larger, but with all the other closet space, it’s easy to use some of that for pantry overflow. I also really appreciate the built-in desk. It’s quite spacious and has cabinets above it that provide excellent storage for office supplies and other items. The bathrooms have a tub with a shower, which works very well for me. There are washer and dryer hookups in the apartments, and if you don’t have your own machines, Alcove also offers the option to rent a washer and dryer. One of the things I especially appreciate about Alcove is the sense of community. There are only three buildings, so the management team actually knows residents by name. The office staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and professional, and maintenance is exceptionally prompt whenever something needs attention. The property is also very well maintained. The landscaping is attractive, and the valet trash service Sunday through Thursday evenings, combined with the strict policy against leaving trash cans in the hallways, keeps the property looking clean and orderly. Overall, Alcove at Alamo Heights is beautifully maintained, exceptionally well managed, and a genuinely pleasant place to live. The apartments are thoughtfully designed, the storage is outstanding, maintenance is responsive, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Five stars without hesitation! I’m very happy to call Alcove at Alamo Heights home and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful apartment community.

  Ever since we found The Alcove our experience has been phenomenal. Both Jessell and Felicia have gone above and beyond to make this experience exceptional. My son is moving there soon and each time we needed help they were both eager. I cant wait to meet them personally to thank them. You cant go wrong with this team.

  Jessel was so welcoming and awesome. She made my move super easy and was always there for questions. She was very accommodating with my physical limitations and even gave me more time to move in while i was in the hospital. The apartments are absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for an apartment this is it.

  The Alcove apartments have great resources - pool, gym, parking, BBQ, balconies etc.. And the apartments are spacious and fully equipped with everything you’ll need and luxuries like valet trash, large water dispenser fridges, sink garbage disposals, security systems and air-con throughout. The community are polite and friendly, you can’t hear your neighbours in the apartments but always get a smile and greeting when you pass each other. Felicia and Jessel are a great team, always happy to help and super responsive with any query you might have.
