    I was planning to move into this community after having a positive initial experience. The leasing staff was welcoming during my tour, and I wanted to take some time to carefully consider my options before committing to what would likely be a multi-year lease. When I revisited the website approximately two weeks after my tour to move forward with an application, I was surprised to see that the base rent for the same apartment had increased by approximately $500 per month. I contacted the leasing office to ask whether they could honor the original price I had been quoted, as such a substantial increase in such a short period seemed unreasonable. Unfortunately, I was informed that they could not adjust the rent and that pricing is only guaranteed for 24 hours. While I understand that apartment pricing can fluctuate based on market conditions, prospective residents should not have to bear the financial burden of units remaining unrented. A $500 monthly increase after just two weeks feels excessive and makes it difficult for potential residents to move forward, even after having a positive impression of the community. Additionally, I was placed on hold for a considerable amount of time before receiving that response. While I completely understand that leasing offices can be busy assisting other customers, a brief explanation or update during the wait would have been appreciated and would have made the experience much less frustrating. Overall, my initial impression of the community was very positive, but the combination of the substantial rent increase and the customer service experience ultimately led me to look elsewhere. I hope this feedback helps improve communication with future prospective residents. That said, if the community is willing to honor the original rental rate that I was initially quoted, I would still be very interested in making this my home. I was genuinely looking forward to living here and would be happy to spend the next several years as a resident.

    So our apartment AC has been broken for about a month now. We keep putting in requests and they keep coming and saying they just need to refill the coolant. They leave saying they filled it and that its fine but it still has NOT cooled down. They keep giving the same excuse as to why its not working. Its currenttly 78 degrees in our apartment. It has been 78 degrees for weeks now and nothing has been fixed. Was told a week ago an HVAC company team member would come address the issue and today we were told they would come in. They gave us a portable AC that was missing the plug and leaked ALL over the floor I mean a HUGE puddle. We trouble shooted the water leak from the portable ac. Come today, its just the same maintence guy who has been coming in and out about the same problem. He checked the hatch above the bathtub and fixed that leak, took the portable ac unit back saying we didnt need it anymore. He didnt even check if the AC was working before leaving. Its not working still and now we dont even have the portable ac anymore!! Our electricity also keeps short circuiting, the same maintenance guy came in and told us it was our oven causing the problem as well as the portable ac. The power still goes out even without the portable ac unit being here anymore as well as the oven situation was never fixed. So here we are with a broke ac still in Texas summer heat as well as no oven that works bc if we turn it on our electricity goes out and we have to go manually turn it back on outside. This is beyond not okay and needs to be fixed.

    We absolutely love Marie! She has made our move the best experience we’ve had so far. She’s always prompt in answering our questions and helping with maintenance requests. Marie and Jordan also worked quickly to get our AC issue resolved, which we truly appreciated. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication made a stressful process much easier. We highly recommend them!

    Highly disappointed in the lack of customer service with leasing agent working Saturday June 9th. She was not welcoming, didn’t stand up to greet us, and clearly didn’t want to work. Your site and videos advertise touring your complex, which I looked forward to. However she stated I would not see any floor plan prior to moving in, that’s just how the industry is. That information was unwelcoming, especially because when I was leaving, another leasing agent was coming back from a tour. Definitely left a bad impression and wouldn’t be a person I would want to sign a lease with.

    Formal Complaint Regarding Unacceptable Customer Service Experience Dear Property Manager/Leasing Office of : The Landing At Round Rock. I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an extremely disappointing experience I had while visiting your apartment complex on Saturday June 6th 11:30-12pm Upon arriving at the leasing office, the staff member on duty did not greet us or make any effort to assist us in a professional manner. We were left standing at the front while she remained seated and showed little interest in engaging with us. This immediately created an unwelcoming and unprofessional atmosphere. When we inquired about viewing available units, we were told—in a dismissive and discourteous tone—that it is “not allowed in the industry” to show apartments prior to move-in, and that we would essentially have to commit without seeing the unit. This statement was both surprising and concerning, as it contradicts standard expectations and practices in apartment leasing. I found it quite surprising that as we were leaving, another leasing agent was walking in with potential residents from a tour of your complex. Additionally, the overall attitude displayed was rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. Customer service at any residential community is a key factor in a prospective resident’s decision, and unfortunately, this interaction reflected very poorly on your property. Based on this experience, the property is not being presented in a favorable or professional manner, and it raises concerns about how residents may be treated after moving in. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to improve the level of service provided to future prospects for The Landing at Round Rock. You have lost my business; and I’m glad I checked these prior reviews, looks like we dodged a bullet. Thank you for your attention!
