- SNShannon NelsonSep 21, 20261.0I’ve been living here since 2023 and I have had my share of ups and downs but this weekend was my final straw. I have a sewage drain in front of my door (odd place for this). It drains quite often and it’s very nasty, unsafe and difficult to enter my apartment from the parking lot. To avoid it I would have to walk all the way around the property to get to my front door which faces the street. On Saturday afternoon , I called my apartments to let them know the drain has burst open and there was feces on the ground. I spoke with Alicia who stated she would put in a maintenance request. Due to this being the weekend I had my concerns about this as depending on how many other request they had, this order may not be immediately rectified. But I thought for sure they would prioritize a toxic waste exposure. An hour later my mom came to visit and she was shocked that the waste had not been addressed. She also informed the office of the severity of the situation by calling the emergency number for maintenance request. They informed her they would notify a plumber. Now it is Monday morning and the feces has tripled in quantity. I guess the expectation was that we had to spend a full weekend with feces and urine in front of our doors and be ok with it. I am not ok. My house stinks and I have had to cancel weekend visitors due to this embarrassing situation. We are charged for sewage in our monthly rent fee so I’m also going to have to pay for this inconvenience. Rent is due in a few days and the full amount will be expected per usual as if this isn’t completely unacceptable. This is terrible
