  I’ve had a very unpleasant experience interacting with Isabella Chook. She lost her patience during our conversation and spoke to me in a rude and unprofessional manner. Unfortunately, I’ve also found the apartment community staff to be unhelpful and not very responsive to tenants’ concerns. I’ve been having issues with mail not being delivered to my mailbox, and despite bringing this up, the issue has not been resolved. Additionally, the management has not provided the TAA lease documents in the format required and accepted by the post office. My mailbox is also broken and has not yet been repaired. Overall, I’m disappointed with the level of customer service and support provided to tenants, and I hope these issues can be addressed promptly.

  If you prefer your apartment to stay cool when it’s hot outside, I would think twice about living here. If you don’t mind having electric bills over $350 a month, then you may be okay with this place. The HVAC system appears to be quite old and uses an excessive amount of electricity. I’ve lived in multiple apartments, and I’ve never experienced 2,000+ kWh of usage in an approximately 800-square-foot apartment. For comparison, I previously lived in an older 650-square-foot apartment, and even during the hottest months, my usage only went a little over 1,000 kWh. That comparison makes me question how old and inefficient the HVAC system here is and how hard it has to work to maintain a comfortable temperature. Unfortunately, this also means the apartment is not particularly energy efficient or environmentally friendly. I’ve also had other HVAC-related issues during my time here. At one point, my closet flooded because of a clogged drain pipe, and my bedroom AC stopped working, leaving the room noticeably warm. During this period, three of my neighbors were also having HVAC related issues. I’m grateful that maintenance has been able to address some of these issues, but my electricity usage and bill remain unusually high. Ultimately, I really like this apartment and would otherwise have very few complaints. However, dealing with the HVAC issues and the resulting electricity costs has been a frustrating experience. I don’t particularly enjoy having to spend hundreds of dollars to compensate for a building issue. Until the HVAC system is replaced or significantly upgraded, I don’t see the high energy usage improving.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience working with Maggie Figueredo, Leasing Agent at Villas of Preston Creek Apartments. Maggie was very friendly, professional, patient, and helpful throughout the entire leasing process. She took the time to answer all of our questions clearly and made sure we understood everything about the apartment and leasing process. She was always approachable and responsive whenever we needed assistance. What I appreciated most was her positive attitude and willingness to help. She made the whole experience smooth and comfortable for our family. I highly recommend Maggie Figueredo to anyone looking for an apartment at Villas of Preston Creek. Thank you, Maggie, for your excellent customer service and support! 5 stars — highly recommended!
