  We cannot say enough wonderful things about Heather Walker, the manager at Mariposa at Comunications Parkway 55+ Homes. As Resident Event Coordinators, my wife and I have had the pleasure of working closely with her, and she’s been a great partner in supporting our events and giving a helping hand any time we need it! It’s clear that Heather leads with genuine care, professionalism, and a deep commitment to the residents. Heather goes above and beyond to create a warm, welcoming community where everyone feels valued and at home. She is attentive, responsive, and always willing to listen—whether it’s addressing a concern or simply taking time to connect with residents on a personal level. Her leadership has truly fostered an environment of kindness, respect, and joy. The property is consistently well-maintained, and the sense of community here is unmatched. That doesn’t happen by accident—it’s a direct reflection of Heather’s dedication and heart for what she does. She brings a level of excellence and compassion that is rare to find. If you’re looking for a place where you or your loved ones will feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for, this is it. Heather Walker is a true asset, and Mariposa Comunications Parkway is better because of her leadership. Highly recommend!

  This place had a good concept and a beautiful property. However, the management is not good. When you call them, you get the AI answering the phone. It takes forever to get through to a leasing agent only to get another recording to have them call you back. They don’t open till 11 o’clock in the morning, which is ridiculous. They are so unprofessional I would think twice before trying to rent from this place. I think it’s gonna end up being a nightmare down the road. If you can’t have proper office help and management, it doesn’t make any different how nice facility is. It took me four emails to finally get someone to answer me and then it was AI. I will no longer attempt to check into this apartment complex because I truly feel it’s gonna be a nightmare down the road. Their management skills are not geared to the community they’re trying to reach! I can honestly say I have never had an apartment complex that is so frustrating and difficult to be able to talk to a real live person and get current market value information!

  I want to give a big shoutout to Tina and Stephen the Community Coordinators for Mariposa at Communications Parkway. The activities and events they provide for the residents are wonderful. I appreciate the delicious food and time they give the residents. Thank you. Looking forward to many more events!

  I want to thank Tina & Steve Medlock Event Coordinators with Apartment Life for hosting events at Mariposa 55+ Plus Apartments. We have weekly events that are top notch and well attended by residents.

  I stopped by on Friday morning and could not find anyone who worked for the property. After asking several people if they work for the company, I finally found a man who worked there and he said he would be with me after he finished a tour with a lady who was also trying to get pricing information. I waited over 30 minutes and the man who later said he was the assistant manager said it was his lunch time and he had appointments for after lunch. All I wanted was a price. He said to make an appointment for next week. Don't walk away from the Mariposa property, *****RUN***** The property looks new and very nice but if the management will not help you or answer a simple answer then I can only imagine what it would be like if you had a problem. This man should be FIRED !!!
