Extremely Disappointing Living Experience
I am very disappointed with my experience at Ferro Apartments. For the amount of rent residents are expected to pay, the living conditions and services are unacceptable.
The internet is constantly going down or not working properly, which has caused me to lose pay at work because I rely on a stable internet connection. Despite the ongoing outages and inconvenience to residents, no credits or compensation are being given for the repeated internet issues.
There are also serious security and cleanliness concerns. Homeless individuals have been able to come into the building and sleep inside at night. The garage door is frequently not working, which only adds to the security problems. On top of that, there have been issues with roaches, and the hallways often smell strongly of pet waste.
For such high rent, residents should not have to deal with unreliable internet, safety concerns, pests, unpleasant odors, and broken building access. Management needs to take these issues seriously and provide residents with the quality of living they are paying for. I would not recommend this apartment complex based on my experience.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this apartment complex. Roaches and bugs are an everyday problem, and the property does not seem to be properly maintained.
The Wi-Fi goes out almost every weekend, sometimes leaving us unable to use it at all. Security is also a major concern. My car was broken into twice within just three weeks, and the garage gate is frequently broken, making the parking area feel completely unsecured.
Package theft is also extremely common. I’ve had to constantly worry about whether my deliveries will still be there when I get home.
For the amount of money residents pay, basic things like cleanliness, reliable internet, working security gates, and safe package delivery should not be constant problems. Living here has been frustrating and disappointing, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe and properly maintained apartment.

Avoid at all costs. I used to enjoy living here. The management team was excellent under Seraphina and Joseph. My partner and I have been tormented by the neighbors that live above us. They often beat each other senseless and we’ve called 911 over 10 times since January. We’ve emailed the nonchalant property managers just have more instances of fighting and stomping around from 1-4 am. This property has also begun the nickel and diming all other companies do to squeeze every penny out of its tenants. The terrible WiFi (that used to be free) we get charged for. They charge even more for the closets they consider storage space. The garage door has been broken for months. With the new train station we find unhoused people in the garage and building at all times. If you want to be transported to Woodstock or Rolling Loud, walk through the second floor of building 1 and take a long deep breath. I can’t wait for my lease to be up. For the amount of money they charge you would think the gym equipment would be maintained better. My spouse and I combat our nasty neighbors’ roaches daily. This is not luxury living. This is ghetto living with luxury prices. Avoid any properties with the owner and management team that oversee this dump. The absolute worst decision we made was to remain at this property.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt like I had to say something. Avoid this place if possible.
Management is a complete mess — disorganized, inconsistent, and unwilling to take accountability when something goes wrong. They gave me incorrect information that I relied on when signing my renewal, then refused to take any responsibility and tried to find every possible angle to push the responsibility back onto the resident.
They called me to confirm my renewal terms, then handed me a lease that didn’t contain them. They admitted the call happened, in writing, and still refuse to fix it.
Poor communication, different employees giving different answers, and zero accountability. The resident is the one left dealing with the consequences.
The problems don’t stop there. The walls are extremely thin — you can hear what your neighbors are doing at night. Roaches come through the air vents. The garage door was damaged by someone, and management makes all residents pay for it.
Save yourself the headache and look somewhere else.
