If I could give this property and its new manager zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, my experience with the new manager has been very disappointing. I have found the manager to be condescending and unhelpful, and the welcoming, customer-focused atmosphere that residents expect seems to be missing. Rather than taking responsibility when issues arise, she often appears to place blame on others, including staff and upper management. On the other hand, the assistant manager and the maintenance team have been exceptional. They are professional, hardworking, and have consistently provided excellent service. It would be unfortunate if the property were to lose these valuable employees because of ongoing issues with the new manager. I genuinely hope the owner and management takes the time to evaluate the situation and identify the root of the problems. This community has great potential, and the dedicated staff members deserve recognition for the work they do every day. Get rid of the new manager, she is ruining the environment at this community.

I absolutely love living at Yardhomes Trailside! The community is fantastic, but what really sets it apart are the incredible resident events. A huge shoutout to Trilby, she puts so much effort into planning everything, and she always knocks it out of the park. It’s such a welcoming place to live, and she makes it feel like a true community. Couldn't ask for better management!

The community manager Gabby and the leasing agent Trilby made the transition process easy and as stress free as a move can be. The grounds and the amenities are well maintained with a strong sense of community . Gabby in particular was personable, accommodating, and professional. It left me with a lasting impression that if ever a problem should come about, I know my concerns will translate to action. If anyone should find themselves looking for a place to live, look no further!

I’ve had the chance to interact with Gabby, and it’s SO easy to see how valuable she is to the team. She’s incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and always takes the time to make people feel welcomed and comfortable!! No matter how busy things are, she stays organized, communicates clearly, and genuinely cares about helping others ❤️❤️ It’s obvious she’s someone her team can rely on, and she represents the property extremely well. If every leasing office had someone like Gabby, the experience wuld be so so much better!!!

I want to start this review off by saying that the office staff has been very friednly and answered questions as they have arisen. It is also noted that not all office staff were here when the complex opened and were dealing with previous problems. Renter's be aware of what you are getting. While this complex is new and most renters will be the first occupants it comes with a price. Beginning-I moved in 4 months ago and should have known something wasn't right when the price went up by a $100 dollars when I signed my lease. I was quaoted 1355 and when I signed it was $1455. This was still in my budget so not a big deal. I was supposed to receive an email with all of my welcome home info the night before I moved in. Never received the email and had to wait in the office to get it while movers were waiting on me. Had to go in and ask for basic info-gate codes, mail-no keys-took 2 months to get-apartment inventory sheet, guest info, trash, etc. This should have been provided in a folder for me when I moved in. I was promised a gift for my look and lease sign-never received it. Two months in and I was being charged for a renters insurance policy that I didn't need. Literally went in every month and was told they had taken care of it and had my policy but still being charged. Turned out on month 4 going in asking for a 65 dollar credit for a policy I didn't need and they just needed a po box added to the policy. This could have been handled month 1 with no other issue had this been explained. By month 4 fees are being added that were never apart of the original contract and we are being told that we have to all pay them. In example, irrigation, for the entire complex. We have no say in when or how much water goes towards this and with Pflugerville on water restrictions we are paying for 4 times a day watering and yes this includes the hottest part of the day where we are wasting water. The water at the dog park ran for 3 days before it was shut of and finally fixed. Another fee you are paying for is the amenities. Now while this is not an unusual fee it is usually built into the rent or disclosed on your contract. This fee is for the Pool-no shade, the work out room-nice, and the dog park that has a hose for a wash station. This fee shoud also be covering the waste stations for the dog park but they are never emptied or if they are it's once a month. And now renters are not cleaning up after their pets and it is attracking pests to the park. No shade either until the sun goes down. While these things at first glance don't see very big to some, but for those on a fixed income it can not only hurt your budget, but also put you in a situation that you can't get out of. I went with the smallest 1/1 and what was affordable at first glance and with a strict budget was blown out of the water this month by jumping to over 1900. If I had know all of the fees up front I would not have even applied for this complex.
