  I deeply regret choosing Summerwind Apartments, and based on my experience, I would not recommend this apartment community to anyone. From the very beginning, we have faced ongoing maintenance issues, poor communication, and concerns about the overall condition of the property. Within our first month, we were only able to use one bathroom for nearly 10 days due to a toilet tank leak. Multiple maintenance requests were required before the issue was finally resolved, causing significant inconvenience to my family. The washer and dryer issues remain unresolved despite repeated service requests. We are constantly told the issue has been fixed, but the washer continues to vibrate excessively, move during operation, and produce loud noise. It feels like many problems are receiving temporary fixes rather than proper long-term solutions. I was also surprised to see that the balcony door issue was addressed by placing rods to keep the door secured instead of properly repairing the door. This raised concerns about the quality of maintenance and the security of the unit. Security is another major concern. There are no dedicated pedestrian access gates available for residents, and entry is often through the leasing office gate, which is frequently left open. As a result, it appears that anyone can enter the property without access codes or proper authorization. This does not provide the level of security that residents should expect from a gated apartment community. What made the experience even more frustrating was the attitude of some of the leasing and maintenance staff. My wife and I felt that our concerns were often dismissed, and on several occasions the responses we received were rude and unprofessional. As paying tenants, we expect our concerns to be taken seriously and handled with respect. Overall, instead of enjoying our new home, we have spent much of our time following up on unresolved maintenance issues and worrying about property upkeep and security. The lack of responsiveness, recurring maintenance problems, and poor customer service have left us extremely disappointed. I would never recommend this apartment to friends, family, or anyone looking for a place to live. I genuinely regret choosing this community and hope management takes meaningful steps to improve maintenance quality, resident safety, and customer service.

  Overall Summerwind is a decent complex. The location is great. The leasing process is easy and straight forward. Though in my time living here I constantly had issues with the WiFi. Summerwind operates on a managed network meaning you don’t get to choose your own provider. I was being billed $70 for unstable connections (constantly dropping out, calling Xfinity). Yet there was no clear solution to this…In addition the apartment gates have been broken for months and have not been fixed. Anyone can just drive into the complex. The gym equipment is faulty as none of the treadmills work…it’s been like this for months also. Some neighbors can be loud and are constantly smoking (marijuana). It smells bad and Even after speaking with management, they never really do anything but send an email to the tenants. Prices have gone up in rent though the property has not done anything to make it better…with all this idk if it’s worth paying $1500 a month…just a heads up for anyone interested in this complex.

  I just leased an apartment at Summerwind and I received excellent customer service and a positive experience. Iris was very informative, knowledgeable and witty lol! Emalee was also knowledgeable, kind, and thorough.

  I live in Southwind and I really like it here. It’s a quiet and peaceful place. When I needed help from the maintenance team, they responded quickly and efficiently. In addition to the residence itself, the area is close to grocery stores, good schools, shops, and restaurants.

  Great place to live. Fair pricing, always quick with work orders. Clean, convenient, and spacious apt layout. And a very communicative and helpful leasing team.
