  Clayton Homes of New Braunfels has some of the most experienced, knowledgeable, and genuinely honest employees you could ask for. They take the time to answer questions and make you feel comfortable without pressuring you. The homes themselves are unbelievably beautiful. The designs, finishes, and attention to detail are on another level. Honestly, I don’t know of another manufactured-home company anywhere in the United States producing homes as beautiful as these. I highly recommend visiting Clayton Homes of New Braunfels! You really have to see them in person to appreciate how impressive they are!

  Watch out for the lot tactics at this location. They have a beautiful, premium home with expensive wood siding parked right by the highway featuring a massive sign that says "Starting at $26,900."This is complete deception. The $26,900 price does NOT apply to the wood-sided home you are looking at. That cheap price is actually for a basic model with plain vinyl siding that they hide away. There is zero lettering on the giant banner telling you that the model on display costs thousands more in upgrades.Using a premium display home to mask a cheap base price is a total bait-and-switch trick to get you onto the lot. Be ready for massive upcharges the second you walk inside. ******************* Your Hawaiian “manager” claims this is a leader ad. A legitimate leader ad displays a price and includes an asterisk or other clear disclosure explaining exactly what that price applies to. Nowhere on your giant advertisement does it indicate what that price is for. That is precisely why the FTC considers this type of advertising potentially deceptive. If your ad simply stated, in small print like other businesses do, “This price is for our vinyl siding model,” you would have a much stronger argument for compliance. Instead, customers don’t see the actual qualifications or limitations until they enter the home, where they are presented with what appears to be a proper leader ad. Your banner advertising “Free Delivery” within 250 miles is another issue. I live only 32 miles from your facility, yet your employees tried to add an additional $3,500 delivery charge. I even offered to pay cash on the spot, and your employees still wouldn’t honor the two things you advertised. I’m not asking for anything for free that you didn’t advertise. I don’t need a discount, and I’m not looking for special treatment. All I wanted was for you to honor the two offers your own advertising clearly promised.

  Stopped in months ago and spoke with Rob. He was very helpful and now that we are ready to buy, we came back. He was on vacation so in his absence Dee provided the info we needed. We like the modular homes very much. Will be back to discuss options.

  Came into Clayton Homes just to browse and get started looking for homes for our future. We met Tony. He showed us around to 4 different homes in our price range and he was very insightful, knowledgeable, and straight to the point.
