North 40 Land Group didn't start with a logo and a pitch deck. It started with 13 years in mortgage lending, a military discharge, and a decision to stop working in real estate and start working on it.
Jason Northcutt spent over a decade originating loans at Wachovia, Countrywide, and World Savings before the industry reset and made the choice for him. In 2016, he made the full transition to real estate sales, not as a pivot, but as a doubling down. Today, North 40 Land Group operates under Compass, manages 60+ active listings, and serves buyers and sellers across Texas markets. The team is small on purpose.
