Expect to perform a deep cleaning of your room when you move in. Room had stained mattress, missing shower head, rusty tub, dust that looks like it’s collected for months, pealing paint, broken cabinets. Management office offers no help and genuinely does not care to do anything except at some point in time install a showerhead. Look elsewhere.

Honestly sad to rate this so low but this place is horrible. I loved the old management they had and have lived here since August of 2023 but this place has gone so far down since then that i tell anyone I can never to live here. My fiance’s rent was $499 but somehow had to pay over $1000 for his last month. The plumbing NEVER works. I’ve been in 2 different units and both don’t drain and probably never will. The management is absolutely horrible and is by far the worst part. They don’t care enough to help you with any issues unless you bother them enough over a long period of time. They barely ever answer the phone. Their front office never knows what i’m talking about or how to handle ANYTHING when I ask questions. They’ve messed up my roommates and changed them over 3 times and would have never emailed any one of us about it if we weren’t smart enough to figure it out on our own by investigating. They refuse to ever fix any of their mistakes. And they won’t even allow me or anyone to break their contract for any reason. Everything is horrible and broke. Here to the point where I am quite literally moving back in with my parents 7 hours away and switching to online school just so i don’t have to live at this horrible apartment complex anymore. I guess i’ll just have to pay my rent from at home because absolutely not. Would never recommend this place to anyone EVER.

During my time living here, I stayed in the 4x4 townhomes for two years, and it was easily one of the worst apartment experiences I’ve ever had. I experienced ongoing issues with both management and maintenance throughout my lease.
During my first year, things were somewhat manageable because I had roommates, but there were still constant problems. The air conditioning repeatedly stopped working, and our dryer would have to run nearly ten times before clothes were even close to dry. Maintenance was incredibly slow to respond, and it was common to wait weeks for repairs.
My second year is when I realized how little the property cared about its residents. I was supposed to have new roommates, but they were moved to another unit on move-in day. They briefly moved in and then immediately moved out. Not only was I never informed about these changes, but I was also charged for the electricity, water, and sewage for the entire unit. My monthly rent was supposed to be $499 based on the lease I signed, yet my total monthly bill reached nearly $900.
When I spoke with management, they were dismissive, rude, and talked down to me. They claimed that if you don’t have roommates, you’re responsible for covering the entire unit’s utility costs. After carefully reading my lease, I found absolutely no language stating that I would be responsible for taking over other tenants’ utility bills. I explained that I never asked to live alone and that it was unreasonable to charge me for an entire four-bedroom unit simply because they failed to provide roommates.
The furniture was another major issue. The living room couch was already ripped apart from normal wear when I moved in. I requested that it be replaced, and management told me they would provide couch covers instead. After waiting four months with no follow-through, I finally asked them to remove the damaged furniture so I could purchase my own. I wasn’t willing to risk being blamed for damage I didn’t cause.
Package handling was also extremely frustrating. My packages would often sit in the office for hours or even days before I received the pickup email. If I went to the office after confirming a package had been delivered, staff would refuse to give it to me until I received their automated email, which frequently didn’t arrive until days later.
Maintenance was by far the worst part of living here. Unless you marked a request as an emergency, you could expect to wait at least one to two weeks for someone to respond. My air conditioning broke down repeatedly, and one week my apartment reached 90 degrees. I ended up sleeping in my car because no one would come fix it. It was only treated as a priority after repeated phone calls and complaints.
One of the most concerning issues was how maintenance entered apartments. They routinely unlocked the front door, announced themselves after entering, and came inside without knocking or notifying residents beforehand. On one occasion, I submitted an emergency request for my air conditioning. The emergency hotline specifically states that maintenance will call before arriving, but I never received a call. I was in the shower when a maintenance worker entered my apartment unexpectedly. He began yelling at my dog and attempting to hit her while I rushed out of the shower in nothing but a towel to figure out what was happening. That experience was completely unacceptable and made me feel unsafe in my own home.
Overall, I cannot recommend this property to anyone. Between the poor communication, rude and unprofessional management, slow maintenance, surprise charges, damaged furniture, and lack of respect for residents’ privacy, this was an extremely disappointing place to live. There are far better apartment communities that value their residents and provide the level of service people should expect when paying to live somewhere.

I have lived here in Wildwood for two years. My first year was pretty okay.. I did have some problems with different charges on my account; I remember them charging us almost triple the cost in electricity during winter break (my roommate and I were both gone...) I reached out and they said they couldn’t do anything about it because they were using an “external service” I also do remember them charging me 3 months' worth of utilities one month because THEY were behind on payment... how does that happen??????
This last year living here was absolutely worse. We told management pretty early on that my friends (co-ed) and I wanted to room with each other; we did the app thing as well and they assured us we would. My roommates started getting assigned while I was not, so we had to constantly email and call, and at one point they told me that had to ask the random that was put in the apartment BEFORE me if he was okay living with a girl.. AFTER my roommates and I approved all of that.
When I moved in the living area was trashed and my room was not clean at all, there was dust and dirt everywhere, especially in the bathroom. I could tell they didn’t bother to clean or get my room ready to move in BECAUSE MY TOILET WAS IN THE BATHTUB. ITS TURE! There was also a stack of vinal flooring as if they had just installed it too. My roommate's toilet was also broken for the whole fall semester, and the water pressure is also terrible, I would have to flush the toilet more than twice at times. The dryer also had my clothes smelling horrid sometimes??
The random charges did not stop this year. Like everyone said, they really do just slap up a bunch of charges there, but there is no point in reaching out because management is horrible; they won’t help you. I got charged $15 monthly for trash pick up, I remember last year it was $12, but they would pick up the trash every day. Now they pick up the trash maybe twice a week if you’re lucky. You also WILL get written up if you have more than two bags. Why am I paying for a service that doesn’t even provide service?? And if I'm being quite honest, I don’t even remember it being an option, I think they automatically add the service to your charges.
Also do not expect to get your mail in time. They take forever for your packages, sometimes they will let you pick it up without them sending you an email but will remind you to wait for an email. That they send out maybe a few days later. You can also subscribe to a locker pick up, I did like that but if you forget to pick it up, they do charge you.
There was also a shooting at the pool a few months ago, I don’t remember them letting the residents know about this happening and the only reason I knew is because my apartment is next to the office, MY ROOMMATE AND I HEARD SHOTS TWICE. After that they had security in the day on the weekend, they did this only at night, which was good for them, but I would still see randoms at the pool after.
I believe management changed 2 years ago, but this complex has not gotten any better. They’re extremely greedy and rude, they help you minimally and expect you to figure out the rest. They ONLY care about your money. I’m seeing many people, my roommate included get charged move out fees for “damages” and not properly cleaning... AS IF THEY EVEN HAD THE APARTMENTS READY FOR US MOVE IN DAY. (my boyfriend and I spent maybe 3 days cleaning before I actually set my stuff in my room) MONEY HUNGRY MANAGEMENT! As you read these reviews, you can see the same cycle with them, they DO NOT CARE. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!

If I could give Wildwood zero stars, I would.
This was by far one of the worst-managed apartment complexes I have ever lived in. Almost every issue I experienced was caused by poor communication, broken promises, or management refusing to take accountability.
Before I signed my lease, one of the leasing staff members promised both me and my roommates that we would receive early move-in because we were some of the first people to sign. We specifically asked if it could be written into our lease so there would be no misunderstandings later. He told us he couldn’t add it to the contract but assured us we were at the top of the list and that we were guaranteed early move-in.
When move-in came around, I was suddenly told I did not have early move-in and would have to wait two more weeks. After planning everything around the promise they made, I spent over a week fighting with management just to receive what I had originally been told was guaranteed. I eventually got my early move-in, but it caused unnecessary stress, uncertainty, and frustration that never should have happened.
Things only got worse after that.
Before move-in, our fourth roommate had given up her lease. A week before moving in, Wildwood emailed us a list of our roommates, and the girl who had already given up her lease was still listed. Since no one contacted us otherwise, we naturally assumed it would just be the three of us living in a four-bedroom apartment.
The day I finally moved in for early move-in, I was shocked to find out they had assigned us a completely different fourth roommate without telling any of us. We received no email, no phone call, no updated roommate information, nothing. She simply showed up.
A short time later, she moved out without any communication from management. Again, we weren’t informed. We only figured it out after not seeing or hearing from her for weeks and knocking on her bedroom door.
Then management informed us they planned to move another resident into our apartment with two dogs.
I explained that I was uncomfortable with this because I planned to have my own dog living with me in the future, and my dog does not get along with other dogs. My roommates and I also did not want multiple dogs living in our apartment. Management basically told us there was nothing they could do because it was a pet-friendly property.
Instead of looking into the issue, I had to do the research myself and point out that residents generally cannot be forced to live with animals without the proper consent under applicable housing rules. Only after I spent another week going back and forth with management did they finally decide not to move her into our unit.
Notice the pattern. Every single issue required me to fight for something that should have been handled correctly from the beginning. Broken promises. Zero communication. Constant misinformation. Every problem was avoidable if management had simply done their jobs.
The apartments themselves were fine, but the management completely ruined the experience. They consistently failed to communicate with residents, made promises they didn’t keep, and created unnecessary stress over situations that should have been simple.
If Wildwood truly wants to improve, they need to take a hard look at the people running this property. Residents shouldn’t have to argue with management for weeks just to receive what they were promised or to fix problems management created themselves.
I would never live here again, and I would not recommend Wildwood to anyone looking for an apartment.
