  These people are dirty! Buyer beware! Told our son he was preapproved. Sent him several notices and congratulations. He agreed to all the terms. Two days before closing they want 40,000 more on down payment. Strung our son along for two months. Also, they took a deposit on the first house. He was looking at and sold it right out from underneath him. Then offered another home. This should’ve been our first sign to walk away. These people have been shady from the get-go. You don’t tell someone they can get a house for 20,000 and then ask for 63,000 or it’s denied.

  We came in exhausted after having been to Rockwall and Tyler. Dan Dropka was so EXTREMELY HELPFUL, and did a FANTASTIC JOB !! My daughter is doing the paperwork now to get her home. After getting the run around all day, with added charges and bs. Dan SAVED THE DAY!! We looked at 3 homes and she fell in love. We found the home in her price range, that she was wanting with no extra fees and prices. I highly recommend Dan and Clayton Homes to EVERYONE looking for a wonderful home, and honest to goodness no BS involved in buying a home. I will continue to tell everyone to go to Clayton homes and ask for Dan!!

  We purchased our home from Clayton recently and have had a wonderful experience. From the care we received when we walked in the door (shout out to David Spencer!) to when we finally walked into our home for the first time, we’ve enjoyed this process. Yes, every home buying process has its bumps, but our bumps were minor and concerns were addressed with empathy and intent to provide resolution. Even after we moved in, we had some concerns raised that Clayton swiftly moved to resolve, get a crew out, and see that everything be fixed as best as it could be done. In all, we’re so grateful for our experience, professionalism, and care from the Clayton team! Thanks to David, Lindsi, and Scott for all the help throughout the process and care provided!
