- BEBrittany EstradaSep 18, 20262.0I’m providing an updated review based on my experience and issues post closing in May 2026. Closing with Pulte mortgage was a nightmare. So many issues from land development not submitting necessary info to USPS and being months without internet. Pulte did mitigate and provide a hot spot so I could minimally work from home, but not sufficient enough to stream or have cable. This took 3 months or so to resolve. Design team made a mistake with my cabinets/ cook top. This was fixed. A second mistake regarding my pull out trash bin was confirmed and they refused to fix. I’m not shocked honestly bc their mistakes have become costly. I confirmed many other home owners have my same upgraded package and have pull out garbages. I was given BS excuses. Our paint on our cabinets is already wearing. For a 500k home I’d expect better quality. I urge potential home buyers to check our other builders such as GFO, and Chesmar that are also building in saddleback which are in a similar price range. I can no longer refer anyone to this builder. This was meant to be a long term home but we will be moving in a couple years as a result of our terrible experience and will try this again with another builder. The only reason why I’m giving a 2 star is bc Eric the construction manager was great (3rd party inspector agreed) and Steven in sales was great through the entire process.

However, Pulte failed to disclose that our New section was not able to receive mail or get Internet and we’ve been in our home for seven days with no Internet or mail for the foreseeable future. They provided a crappy hotspot which does not let you stream or use baby monitors or anything on it and management field to disclose this before closing I found out on my own. It’s wild that they were allowed to close people when this has not been fixed the director of land development, whose team was at fault here was absolutely rude condescending and not helpful.
