  I’d leave 0 if I could. Don’t even attempt guest parking inside the gate. I registered and still got a boot and then was never refunded. The whitlow is shady and so is the tow company. I was also never paid my referral fee for recommending a client to rent at this property. It’s been nearly 2 years. All communications went unanswered. All around they run a shady business at Whitlow.

  I would not even rate this place one star. Moving here was the worst decision I have ever made. Don’t be fooled by the nice lobby or amenities the apartments are completely trash and the build quality is horrible. My cabinets in my kitchen are crooked, my baseboard to my cabinets in the kitchen is coming off, i have mold growing out of my vent, when i moved in the sinks were peeling (what even causes that to happen) and when we brought up our issues to the property manager he was dismissive not even an apology for issues we were having. Also didn’t even bother sending someone out… i feel like thats just basic. I pay 3k for an apartment that is so terribly constructed it should be illegal- literally feels like im being robbed every time I pay my rent. If i could break my lease tomorrow I would do it. Our neighbors have all had similar experiences and everyone we have spoken to has had horrible experiences with water leaking into their apartment, mold, build issues, etc. i’m not sure it could get worse than this. Avoid moving here at all costs. Edit: i am editing my review in reply to the management team. I want to make it very clear that my concerns were not addressed until i got the regional manager involved. He was very helpful and friendly and was the ONLY person to provide an apology or any semblance of an action plan; however, acting as if the team in the office was on top of this request until the point that I had to continue to get upper management involved is misleading. I have 0 faith in the property manager or his team to resolve any issues that we have moving forward. I believe context and clarification to be very important in this matter. They did fix the mold that grew back for a 2nd time; however I will be waiting to see if it grows back within two weeks as it did the previous time it was “fixed”. Additionally I will add that the actual maintenance team is friendly and my review does not reflect them but the lack of care coming directly from the property manager and his team. I am counting the days until move out. This place is a money pit.

  There is dog poop everywhere. When you move in they take a DNA sample of your dog, reasoning that it will be used to fine you if you don’t pick up after your dog. However, they are obviously not implementing this otherwise there wouldn’t be a pile every 3 square feet. If you’re not going to hold the dog owner responsible then have a cleanup crew take care of it, please.
