Update (April 13, 2026): Since my original review, I’ve received further clarification on how this issue was handled.
While management responded publicly outlining the steps they took, the issue was not fully resolved. I was later informed that although the squirrel was removed, the droppings and waste were left inside the wall and I was told this would “go away in a few weeks.”
No cleaning or sanitation plan was provided, and I also noticed a brief, unusual odor in the unit following this.
At this point, the concern is no longer just about removal, but about how the situation was handled afterward. A complete resolution should include proper cleanup and sanitation—not leaving residual contamination in the walls.
After ten years as a resident, this experience has been extremely disappointing and has significantly changed my perspective on how maintenance issues are managed here.

I’ve had an ongoing wildlife issue in my unit since March 13, with consistent movement and noise inside the walls. Despite multiple follow-ups and escalation, there is still no confirmed service date or clear timeline for resolution.
What’s been most frustrating is the lack of preparedness and ownership in handling this situation. I’ve been told that multiple vendors were unable to assist due to access limitations, yet there appears to have been no contingency plan in place for scenarios like this.
I was also offered a unit transfer as the only alternative, which is not a reasonable solution to an issue that should be addressed within the unit itself. Additionally, I’ve been asked what steps I believe management should take to resolve the issue—when that responsibility should not fall on a resident.
At this point, the situation has gone beyond inconvenience. The noise is occurring daily, is affecting my sleep, and is triggering allergy symptoms, making it difficult to comfortably remain in my home.
I hope the property takes a more proactive and solution-oriented approach to situations like this moving forward, as residents should not have to navigate unresolved issues of this nature for weeks at a time.
