- ADAlex DaltonJun 14, 20265.0We bought our home from Pulte about a year ago, and I can honestly say the experience has been fantastic from start to finish. The construction team—Joshua Salmon and Josh Heath—were so good that I eventually stopped trying to remember which Josh was which and just assumed any problem presented to a Josh would be solved. Turns out I was right. Daniel Smith deserves his own paragraph. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t sleep and instead just roams Pulte communities making sure homeowners are happy. The guy genuinely cares, and you can tell immediately. Then there’s Carly in Customer Care. If customer service had a Hall of Fame, she’d be a first-ballot inductee. She follows up, communicates, and actually does what she says she’s going to do. As someone who owns a service company, that’s rarer than finding a matching Tupperware lid in my kitchen. A year later, the house has been great, the neighborhood is great, and every interaction with Pulte has been positive. My only complaint is that nobody warned me that buying a house comes with an uncontrollable urge to spend every weekend at Home Depot and water bills that require CFO approval from my wife. If I ever build another house, I’m not interviewing builders. I’m just asking one question: “Do the two Joshes, Daniel, and Carly work there?” If the answer is no, I’ll keep looking.
