  Best home building experience I could have imagined!! I have so many good things to say it will be hard to keep it short. Starting with Matthew Dehart who walked us through the entire process of what a build would be like and worked closely with me . He answered all of my questions and never made me feel as if I was bothering him with some silly questions I had. I was a first time home buyer; I was scared and non-stop worried. Jarrod Allen and David Kipp were our contacts through the entire build. They were our life line through the process and made sure to communicate thoroughly with any changes or updates. My wife looked forward to their weekly Friday updates. They were always happy and available to answer questions or explain any changes. They were super organized and really know what they’re doing. David Kipp was great during the walk throughs to make us feel comfortable with what was going on. He would be the first to point out something he felt wasn't up to standards, even if we missed it, and have it fixed. We were building forty minutes away from where we were currently living and were very nervous about the communication with a builder from another town. Little did we know Centex would be excellent in this department. They kept us updated weekly, and often sent pictures of new things happening. If we asked for more or specific photos of something they got them to us quickly. They accommodated our tight schedule on closing, with all of their knowledge, skill sets and guidance we were able to make closing by the deadline we had. All of their hard word added up us getting our first home we had hoped for in the end! I would recommend Centex Builders to anybody looking to build!!!!

  We purchased our home in October 2020, the building portion in itself was a mess. We constantly found alcohol through out the house while the contractors were there. When we would express our concern I was told it was from teens who would break in at night granted it was in the workers coolers. The contractor’s would cause damage while working constantly. Since closing we’ve had issues with wood debris in our toilet causing the function of it to have issues. Our a/c was wired backwards to the thermostats. They had to repair the drive way and in doing so broke a sprinkler head. There was a lot of grout in the drainage pipe of our master shower that would cause it to clog. We had a window leak which caused water damage and originally they “fixed” the problem by painting over the mark on the dry wall. When the water damage reappeared two weeks later they came back out. The warranty manager argued with a contractor in our home when the contractor explained that it was outside of his work and he wasn’t allowed to further investigate which made it super uncomfortable. Now that they have finally replaced the whole window unit it seems to be a huge issue to replace it exactly as it was removed. Kevin has extremely poor communication and will schedule whenever prior to talking to us. And the contractor’s will just show up. I have tried numerous times to call the warranty phone number to try to speak to someone higher up but no one ever returns my phone call. Honestly I am so disappointed in it all and would never recommend buying a centex home. They just take short cuts, do shoty work, and seem to care less.
