  I had an excellent experience overall. From closing to living in the home, I can confidently say that if you’re looking to buy in Jarrell, you’ll be happy with Centex. What truly makes the experience great is the staff. Crystal made the process easy for us, and whenever we had questions, she was on it within minutes. (She gets it done!) Even months after closing on our home, she’s still available to answer any questions we may have. The property manager, Cory, is the same way. He responds within minutes to any concerns or questions, and if you have a problem, even a very minor one, he’s on top of it the same day. He’s truly an awesome guy who builds quality homes and genuinely cares about what he builds. As for Pulte Mortgage, my personal experience wasn’t too bad. My only complaint is that communication could sometimes be a little slow, and responses weren’t always as quick as I would have liked. However, we did close on the exact date we had set, so overall, I really can’t complain too much. If you’re considering buying a home in Jarrell, I highly recommend Centex. You won’t regret it.

  We purchased our home in October 2020, the building portion in itself was a mess. We constantly found alcohol through out the house while the contractors were there. When we would express our concern I was told it was from teens who would break in at night granted it was in the workers coolers. The contractor’s would cause damage while working constantly. Since closing we’ve had issues with wood debris in our toilet causing the function of it to have issues. Our a/c was wired backwards to the thermostats. They had to repair the drive way and in doing so broke a sprinkler head. There was a lot of grout in the drainage pipe of our master shower that would cause it to clog. We had a window leak which caused water damage and originally they “fixed” the problem by painting over the mark on the dry wall. When the water damage reappeared two weeks later they came back out. The warranty manager argued with a contractor in our home when the contractor explained that it was outside of his work and he wasn’t allowed to further investigate which made it super uncomfortable. Now that they have finally replaced the whole window unit it seems to be a huge issue to replace it exactly as it was removed. Kevin has extremely poor communication and will schedule whenever prior to talking to us. And the contractor’s will just show up. I have tried numerous times to call the warranty phone number to try to speak to someone higher up but no one ever returns my phone call. Honestly I am so disappointed in it all and would never recommend buying a centex home. They just take short cuts, do shoty work, and seem to care less.
