I used to love Complex so much until it started smelling like marijuana on a daily basis. The office does nothing about it. i have sent in numerous complaints I pay a lot of money in rent to live here I have 2 young children in my home and the fact that I have to deal with the constant smell of marijuana when its not even legal in texas is atrocious I can’t wait to move once my lease is up I don’t recommend living here it’s gone downhill hill so bad

Will not suggest this place especially with the roaches and insects problem. Pest control charges would be on the bill every month but no pest control’s would be done for months. Water shutdown problem occurs frequently and move out charges would be harsh after handing over with proper cleaning. There are much better places around.

Would not recommend this apartment to anyone. Key Issues: • Mold in the vents • Black bath water • AC / heating not adequate • Cannot access packages • Screaming children We requested reasonable accommodation to allow a 30 day notice instead of a 60 day notice due to apparent mold in the bedroom vent adjacent to the bathroom. We are experiencing health issues that lead us to look for mold. The bathroom vent never worked in the year we lived here and allowed for significant moisture retention. We did an at-home test kit and it tested positive for mold presence. After communication with the complex, they fixed the exhaust fan, wiped the outside of the vent off (did not address anything within the vent), and ignored our request for a formal mold inspection. They refused this request, forcing us to pay month to month for 60 days. Throughout the year we lived in the apartment, the water in the bathtub always came out black and stained the tub, bringing into question the integrity of the pipes and water quality. On top of that, there is a pvc pipe jutting out of the ceiling in the shower that drips cold water constantly and right on top of your head if you do choose to bathe in the black water. We submitted countless requests due to the AC having issues. When we first moved in (August), the apartment was consistently between 81-87 degrees inside for about a week and a half. The apartment did provide us a window unit for the bedroom after a while of waiting for the part. We have had multiple instances where maintenance had to be called out and while the crew are kind and responsive, they told us they’re couldn’t do anything else at a certain point because “it’s hot outside.” During the summer months, the apartment consistently sits at about 77-80 degrees inside and will not go any lower. It is extremely drafty with the front door having about a 1 in gap on all sides and non-insulated windows making the summer months grueling and the winter months freezing. It is extremely hard to access your packages at this complex. Reading older reviews and per conversation with staff, they used to have an issue with mail theft, so they implemented the current Amazon locker. The problem is you HAVE to have a code and there’s no way around it. The Amazon driver decides not to leave a code? You can’t get your package. The package is from UPS or any other carrier? They don’t give you a code at all. The apartment tells you to call the number to get a code, but we have spent hours and hours of phone tag only for Amazon to tell us they’re not allowed to give out codes. This has resulted in us having to wait months to get our packages out or spending more money with Amazon in hopes they provide a code. Be aware if you live in building 8818 or nearby that there will be screaming children playing in the pool across the fence all hours of the day/night that you can hear clearly indoors. Overall, yes, it is a cheap apartment, but it is not worth it. Our experience with the unit and staff has been abysmal and we’re very disappointed that we have to continue to pay for this unit after we have vacated for our own health concerns and asked for reasonable accommodation.

Pay attention to these reviews who live there and are having issues. I recently applied here (unknowingly) after receiving written email confirmation from leasing staff that they work with full-time college students. Instead of referring my application as promised, they took my $275 in fees, ran an automated check, and instantly denied me for an 'incomplete application' without ever providing the third-party workflow. Bypassing agreed criteria to keep non-refundable fees is predatory. I have filed a formal dispute with my financial institution for services not rendered.
