The apartments are roomy and plus you have the perks of having an attached garage, and the maintenance men are laid back and nice. BUT the head manager Ms.Smith who is also over Green Pines Apartments and her lack of caring about her tenants is horrible. Please be warned this place randomly increases rent then tried to say all income restricted apartments where increasing which was a lie because I called a few and they knew nothing about the increase not to mention my rent increased from 866 to 946 and I got the notice of the changes less then 30 days before my lease was up. Of course my rent just so happen to increase after I requested someone to look at my ac. (Pictured below) my ac had water an what looked to be mildew and my apartment stayed with the smell of a dirty wet mop no matter what I did. I put in a request for maintenance and spoke with Veronica and they claimed they checked it and its fine. But my family stayed sick when we were living in that apartment and once we moved we haven't had to go to the ER since. And the neighbors above me stayed banging and playing music really loud and I called the officer on duty and not once did he ever show up. I even talked to Ms. Smith she gave me her personal number to call her if the problem persists, and when I did call her she said she would have the officer dispatched and again no one came. The noises were at all time of night and disturbing my school aged child who had school the next morning. Again they dont care about the health of the tenants nor do they care about the peace especially if you are paying your money they should at least act like they care. When it came to my deposit Ms. Smith again showed how unprofessional she could be out of a 250 deposit I only got back about 80 dollars back with a line that says other cleaning 80 and the carpet cleaning 55 and another 28.00 but theh did not show no pictures of what they saw on the carpet that would have cause the additonal charge from my deposit. In a video I have of the apartment the day I left the carpet does not have any stains especially since i was only in the apartment a year. So they will take your deposit regardless on how u left your unit and help themselves to getting the place ready for the next tenants. I wrote to the office for a itemized document that would label what the other services where and never heard back from any one. I have a right to know what you are charging me that just so happen to eat up majority of my deposit. Overall the apartments appearance, size and features are nice but Ms. Smith does not care about her tenants. I would not recommend this complex because of the lack of caring no one should have to live with a ac unit that looked liked mine and have your deposit taken away with no reason why. It is a huge lack of professionalism with the jeas manager and a huge lack of communication.
