I’ve only been here a month. The apartment I chose to move in was not available at my move in time, so they gave me a different model that I had no choice but to move in, although I’m happy about it now. Upon move in the apartment was very nice and spacious with new carpet and fresh paint. I loved it! As I got to looking I started finding things that just simply look like lazy and rushed work. The outside entrance of the front door where the trash cans are kept had liquid spilling in front of door that should have been cleaned before the new person moved in. I hate spots and stains. The entrance to front door had dried up paint or something around the floor that look tacky. The balcony bars has a lot of chipped paint, patio floor was filthy and stained. The entrance door flap was a hazard it was so loose I tripped and almost fell head first into the bars. The patio door paint was peeling. The patio door knob was jammed and hard to open, old and tarnished. I saw 3 roaches in the kitchen. The refrigerator was white but stained on outside. Some of the cabinets were missing shelves. The stove was not working. The bottom drawer on the stove was dented in on one side. The dishwasher had foam busting out the side. I reported this on move in sheet that they give you 3 days to fill out. However it takes more than three days to find everything. They came and put three screws in the flap in patio door, fixed kitchen faucet and stove. However, the stove still had eyes that didn’t work. They replaced the bottom drawer to the stove, but the inside was nasty and greasy. The bathroom baseboard looked like it had carpet previously and they pulled it up and left pieces of carpet that I pulled off. The floor had paint droppings on it. The sink cabinet was busted and peeling. And medicine cabinet was missing shelves. I’ve only been here one month and I haven’t finished unpacking yet because I need to scrub and spray for roaches first before I put all my stuff up. And I need maintenance to repair everything. I have put in work orders for all these things and once they’re completed I will revisit and review again. It saddens me that we have to move in and put in work orders for things that should have already been done. You can clearly see it’s the negligence and laziness of maintenance. Buildings need to be sprayed one whole building at a time. To control roaches. These stray cats are out of control too. Something needs to be done. And the big potholes need to be repaired as well. These could be very nice apartments if it’s kept clean, and repaired. Maybe hire professionals who love doing what they do. Or hire a temporary crew to come in and help get everything fixed properly. Also I think the valet needs to be eliminated. You are further causing roaches with all the trash and spilling in stairways. It looks nasty. Let people walk to the trash. It definitely should be a choice. I live next to a trash dumpster I don’t need valet.
