Staff is very cold if you come to them about ANYTHING no matter how respectful you are. I tried to speak to Sarah about my dishwasher not working (my water pressure also isn’t properly working) but she literally did not let me complete a single sentence so I couldn’t properly explain things to her…she has poor basic people skills. I understand it’s not their job to fix my dishwasher but just be quiet for a second and use the “customer service skills” you were hired for. If Maintenance did a better job at getting things done on time they wouldn’t have to talk to the residents about issues that really aren’t their problem. This is the 3rd (maybe 4th) time I’ve requested something in regards to plumping in and I’m currently on day 4 of waiting for someone to even consider coming to my unit. MY WATER PRESSURE NOR DISHWASHER HAVE BEEN WORKING FOR 5 DAYS! THEYRE ALWAYS HAVING WATER ISSUES AND SOMEHOW NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO FIX IT. It takes at least 3 days minimum for them to come out and do ANYTHING regardless of how small the task is. Dont waste your time and money moving here, you can definitely find something way better for the same price but with better staff and plumbing. Moving here was also a hassle with Trina (she has poor communication skills) but that’s something I was willing to put up with. Will not be renewing my lease, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because I work in sales and customer service but some of the women up there need a new occupation they do not work well with the public.

Beware don’t ever move here. They like to charge your account randomly and think an email is an appropriate way to let people know they decided to change rental insurance companies. I had been paying for renters insurance but it doesn’t count because they decided to switch companies and I did not receive email because my inbox was full. The front desk lady doesn’t comprehend simple questions and it’s very unorganized at the office. Last year they deposited my money order in someone else’s account and I didn’t know until i recieved eviction notice. Cars are getting broken into every night. Someone literally got MURDERED HERE in a drive by. It’s gotten very dangerous, unsafe and organized, it’s all over the place here. Definitely don’t bring your kids here it’s so unsafe. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

I lived at Abbey At Grant Road Apartments for 13 months, and overall, it was a very frustrating and concerning experience. From the very beginning, things felt disorganized. I was actually given keys before I had even paid my deposit and prorated rent, which raised red flags about how the property is managed. Unfortunately, that lack of structure carried throughout my entire stay. Within the first 30 days, my vehicle was stolen from the property and ultimately totaled by my insurance company. The renters insurance did absolutely NOTHING but rip me off. That alone made me question the level of security here. Over time, it became clear that incidents like theft were not isolated, and the overall safety of the complex is a serious concern. Maintenance was another ongoing issue. Requests were either slow to be addressed or handled with temporary fixes that didn’t actually resolve the problem. It felt like things were constantly being patched instead of properly repaired, which made living there even more frustrating. Pest issues were always a concern roaches were in the apartment the day of arrival and an ongoing problem. The office staff also seemed to change frequently, which made communication inconsistent and unreliable. Just when you thought you knew who to contact, there would be someone new, and you’d have to start over explaining everything. To make matters worse, there was even a murder reported on the property during my time there, which further highlighted the safety concerns. Overall, between the lack of organization, poor maintenance, constant staff turnover, and serious safety issues, I would not recommend living here. I strongly encourage anyone considering this complex to do thorough research and think carefully before signing a lease. Once you vacate the lease then you receive a bill from outstanding charges that you don’t even know or understand how they were accumulated. I could go on and on about the HORRIBLE experience with this property. Don’t let the size of the units get you RUN!!! Only gave it a one star due to it is the only way you can send the review.

I lived here for 5 years. There was a roach in the sink the day I moved in. I didn’t have a working refrigerator for a month. The first month I was there, the gate was broken and the wheels were stolen off of my car. No efforts were made on the part of my apartment complex to make me feel better about any of it. Fast forward to this year, the wheels were stolen again, and there was a shooting that was on the news in the complex. I generally had few complaints about the actual unit, but it doesn’t feel safe. The gate is always broken. Most of the office staff comes off as fake sympathetic. And make sure you always keep a paper trail of anything you need from the office. I never received follow ups to any of my emails to the office and the only reason it wasn’t always a bigger issue is because I kept the emails I sent them to show them as proof of their inability to do their jobs. I gave them 60 days notice and they acted like they had no clue until I asked them about it a week before I moved out, and then today were surprised when I handed in my keys, even though I told them I was moving out today. The reason it’s not 1 star is because the maintenance guys are great. They don’t always do a thorough job but they are nice. How they are managed is not. But the complex hardly ever treats AC like an urgent emergency even though it is listed as urgent. My AC broke down 10 times over my 5 years, and a few days it got up to 98 degrees in my apartment with little to no communication from the office regarding status. There is dog poop everywhere too. Please save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

please don’t be fooled by the big kitchen, and spacious closet! that was my favorite part but there are so many things wrong with this roach motel. I just moved out 3/23 after paying the reletting fee of $1287 to break my lease! these apartments are infested with roaches! It doesn’t matter how clean you are, there is no way to get rid of them! I even had the health department come as well. the apartments with post a comment under this talking about “pest control” but that doesn’t help. They come out of floors, outlets, walls etc. I started buying the traps to catch them and was changing them every 2 days. I’m sooo thankful to be out of there! I feel so sorry for whoever moves into apt #324. I’ve attached photos to show. There many more but you get the picture. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
