  I've lived all over Houston. This apartment complex is by far one of my favorites. The clubhouse is clean with a equipt gym. Multiple pools, reasonable rates, and cool staff.

  Ridley Apartments has been an excellent choice for us. From day one we felt welcome, and we’d like to give a special shoutout to Yancy — she helped us with everything, always patient, friendly, and ready to answer any question. Her professionalism and warm attitude made the whole process so much easier and far less stressful. Communication with the team has been smooth, and most issues were resolved quickly thanks to Yancy’s support. We highly recommend Ridley Apartments, and if you get to work with Yancy, you’re in great hands. 😊

  **Zero stars if I could.** I have lived in this apartment complex since 2018. When I first moved in, it was a quiet, safe, and well-maintained community. The laundry machines worked, maintenance requests were handled, and I truly enjoyed living here. Unfortunately, over the past three years, the property has steadily declined. One of the biggest issues has been a roof leak in my apartment. Every time it rains, water leaks through the ceiling, forcing me to place pots on the floor to keep my carpet from being soaked and damaged. I first submitted a maintenance request over two years ago, and despite repeatedly following up with the leasing office, the issue has never been permanently repaired. Another major problem is the constant turnover in the leasing office. Every time I visit, there is a new manager or new staff member, and I have to explain my situation all over again. There is no consistency, no follow-up, and very little accountability. It feels like no one takes responsibility for unresolved maintenance requests. The laundry facilities are another ongoing issue. The machines are frequently out of service, forcing residents to take their laundry elsewhere. Residents are also not allowed to have washers and dryers inside their apartments, making this even more frustrating. I also submitted a maintenance request more than six months ago to replace my AC filter and repair my air conditioning. During the evenings, the temperature inside my apartment stays between 76 and 78 degrees, making it very uncomfortable. Despite multiple requests, no one has come to address the problem. If you live in Building B, be prepared for constant noise. Children regularly scream, yell, run through the hallways, and throw objects around the building. On two separate occasions, my windows were broken. I reported these incidents to the leasing office by email, but, as with many other issues, nothing was done. The only time management seems to act quickly is when it comes to collecting money. One month, my rent payment was made on time, but due to a banking issue, the payment was refunded two weeks later. Even though this was not my fault and I explained the situation, I was still charged late fees. The leasing office offered no assistance and refused to remove the charges. The most disappointing part is that before I renewed my lease, management promised that these ongoing problems would be fixed. They were very friendly during the renewal process, but once I signed, nothing changed. The promises were never kept. After living here for eight years, I am extremely disappointed with how this property has deteriorated. I cannot recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a safe, well-managed place to live. I am simply waiting for my lease to end so I can move somewhere else, and I will never return.
