  Do NOT move here if you work from home! The internet sucks (even after several calls and tech visits with AT&T) and although the apartments seem well insulated, you can hear EVERYTHING in the hallways. Also, constant car break-ins and tire and wheel theft but since the gate and elevators are often broken, it's not surprising that they don't care about safety and security.

  Take a look at all of the 5 star reviews. Almost all of them are from people who toured the apartment because the office staff gives incentives to new residents if they leave a good review. I suggest that you check out the substance of each review to see the specifics from people who actually live there. Here’s my experience. The good: Location close to downtown is nice and in the Heights is great. Right next to parks and very walkable. The apartments are quiet with double paned windows and concrete walls. The amenities are nice, and the store that they have on the 4th floor is great if you need a quick bite to eat or an emergency toiletry. A lot of people who live here are super nice too. You can also rent storage units inside of the complex which is nice. The bad: The elevators. There are 2 full elevators that go from floors 1-10, and 1 elevator that goes up to floor 4. Floors 1-3 are garage, and 4-10 are apartments. There are over 300 units in this building and only 2 elevators. If you live on the 10th floor, from the time you enter the garage, prepare for a 5-15 minute wait just to get to your apartment. If one of the elevators are down (which happens all the time), expect that time to be doubled. These elevators are one of the worst aspects of this complex. The crime. Theft is a real thing here. I had my bike stolen out of a bike locker (along with hundreds of other peoples’ bikes), and my wife had her wheels stolen off of her car. There would be days where I’d walk into the garage and see 5+ cars on cinder blocks. Theft is a serious thing here. The garage security was way too relaxed. Store your bike in your apartment or in a storage unit. Parking stinks. It’s a nightmare to let anyone inside of your apartment. Getting packages delivered is a terrible experience and they get lost all the time. Literal dead bodies floating up in the bayou right next to the complex. Despite paying the extra move out charges for normal ware and ware on the apartment, Revl Heights STILL sent me and my wife to collections. We disgagreed with the additional charges but just paid them immediately because we didn’t was the headache, and they still send us to collections. Absolutely ridiculous. We had a $0 balance as soon as our final payment posted and they still sent us to collections. Now it’s our job to show proof of our payment because of their stupid mistake. Absolutely ridiculous. Management is not the best. Ayron is great, but he’s the only one who seems to actually care about his job or helping residents. It takes multiple follow ups to get anyone else to do anything. A few months ago, a man was literally in a 9-hour standoff with police. I moved out by the time this happened, but apparently the complex was blocked off during that time.

  Delivered to this building and one of the elevators is known to be down. You have to take one elevator to the 4th floor then walk down the hall to get on a second elevator. Seems like a lot to pay for all of the hassle of “luxury”. Amenity fees but a broken elevator is amazing.

  I moved to Texas from Colorado, and moving to a big city without having friends or family around was a little intimidating. Safety was my number one priority when choosing an apartment, and Revl Heights truly made me feel safe and comfortable throughout my stay. I was initially a little confused about moving here because many people from my community and country tend to prefer living farther away from downtown, often about 20–25 minutes away by freeway, believing those areas to be safer or more comfortable. But after living here for a year, I can honestly say that Revl Heights was absolutely worth choosing. Despite being closer to the city, I have always felt safe and comfortable here. The people living here have always been polite and helpful, and I never had any issues with my neighbors. The maintenance team is also excellent—they don't just do a quick temporary fix; they make sure the issue is properly resolved. The management team is also good and approachable. They are usually present and available during working hours, which makes it easier to get help or discuss any concerns when needed. The amenities are another big plus. The gym is really spacious and has plenty of equipment, so there is enough variety for a good workout. The game room is also quite large, and the resident lounge is a nice space to relax or spend time outside the apartment. Another advantage for families is the zoned school. It is a good school and also offers magnet programs, which can be a great benefit for families with children. One thing I really appreciated was the large washer and dryer provided in my 1-bedroom apartment. It was surprisingly spacious and very useful. The apartment and common areas are generally kept very clean. Occasionally, a floor or hallway may not smell the best, but the doorways and common spaces are well maintained overall. Of course, no apartment is perfect. The freight elevator is occasionally out of service, and sometimes the garage doors have issues. However, there are three other elevators available, so the freight elevator issue was never a major inconvenience. Even when the garage doors were temporarily kept open sometimes due to maintenance issues, I personally never experienced any safety concerns. What I appreciate most is how vigilant and transparent the management is. They keep residents informed about everything—from leaks and maintenance issues to incidents that may affect the community. Knowing what is happening around the property really adds to the feeling of safety. I am genuinely happy that I got to live at Revl Heights for a year. Unfortunately, due to my relocation plans and the need to save some money, I have to move elsewhere. But overall, my experience here has been extremely positive. I would especially recommend Revl Heights to anyone moving from another state or country who may not be familiar with a busy city like Houston. It gave me peace of mind during a big transition.

  I saw this place online and was top of my list. After reading several reviews I notice all 5 star reviews are from people touring and all 1 star reviews are from the residents. There is no in-between! The idea of getting locked out of my home is terrifying. Also, shame on management sounds like these residents are stressed OUT!
