  I’m currently looking for an apartment because I’m selling my house and downsizing since my kids are now in university. I went to the leasing office this morning to get information about leasing. The person in the office was on a personal phone call the entire time I was there and didn’t even acknowledge me. I had to interrupt her just to get assistance. She told me to sit down, and after a while she came back out and said I needed an appointment, which was a first for me when simply asking for leasing information. She never even introduced herself, so I don’t even know her name. Overall, it was a horrible customer service experience. Honestly, it makes me wonder what living there would be like if this is how potential residents are treated.

  I live here and it's BS... I'll post tons of videos and pictures later on when my lease ends... but.. NO AC for a week, no dryer for 2 months, roach infestation etc...

  I applied to this apartment and followed up with additional information for my application, but it was never submitted. Communication was extremely poor—no one reached out, and I was repeatedly told to call back later. My calls were not answered, and messages were not returned. I eventually went to the office in person, and even then, no one was able to assist me or provide clear answers. Overall, the experience was very unprofessional and frustrating. If you’re considering applying here, be prepared for a lack of communication and follow-through.

  I strongly advise anyone considering Reserve by the Lake to think twice before moving here. The security is terrible—my tires were stolen, and theft feels like an ongoing problem in this community. Residents should feel safe where they live, but that has not been my experience here. What makes things even more frustrating is the lack of support from management. Please stop replying with “contact us for support” when residents already have and nothing gets resolved. It feels dismissive and shows no real concern for the serious issues happening on the property. The overall management and living experience have been extremely disappointing. I regret signing a lease here and cannot wait to move out. I am already looking into breaking my lease because staying here is not worth the stress, poor security, and lack of accountability. Move here at your own risk.

  If I could give The Reserve by the Lake Apartments zero stars, I absolutely would. This has been one of the worst living experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment you move in, it feels like they are just looking for ways to charge you extra for everything. There are constant “miscellaneous” fees added to your monthly bill, and when you ask for clarification, they give vague excuses but still expect you to pay anyway. One example: trash service costs almost $70–$80 per month, which is completely unreasonable for what you actually get. Maintenance is a nightmare. If something breaks, don’t expect it to be fixed anytime soon. Requests are either ignored or take months to be addressed. It feels like no one is actually managing the property or caring about residents at all. The staff are rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Instead of assisting you, they make you feel like you’re bothering them just for asking basic questions. Communication is terrible, and nothing ever gets resolved properly. The property itself is poorly maintained and dirty. Common areas are not cleaned regularly, and the overall environment feels neglected and unpleasant. And it only gets worse when you move out. They will try to charge you for all kinds of nonsense reasons, adding up to half a month’s rent. It feels completely unfair and unjustified, like they are just trying to take as much money as possible from you even after you leave. Honestly, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the stress, money, and frustration—there are far better options out there. This place does not deserve even one star.
