  I visited my girlfriend’s apartment complex after she recently moved in, and I honestly couldn’t believe what I saw. RACCOONS EVERYWHERE, CATS EVERYWHERE, ROACHES! (THIS IS YOUR NEW HOUSTON ZOO) The lakes are filthy and poorly maintained. The pool area isn’t much better, it’s NEVER OPEN, ITS THE SUMMER, THE BBQ PIT IS FILTHY! The water and surrounding area look neglected, and it doesn’t give the impression of a community that takes pride in maintaining its amenities. These are some of the biggest features used to attract new residents, yet they appear to be an afterthought once people sign their leases. The gym is honestly embarrassing. My girlfriend was excited about having an on-site gym because she planned to cancel her gym membership and save money. Instead, she walked into a fitness center where much of the equipment is broken, missing, or outdated. Basic Olympic barbells can be purchased for around $150-$250 each, and a decent leg press machine can cost anywhere from $300-$600 used. Management collects rent from hundreds of residents every month, yet it seems like even small investments into maintaining the gym are not being made. Replacing one piece of equipment every month would be a huge improvement. The overall property could be maintained much better. Hire residents looking for extra income or bring in outside contractors. Hire someone to maintain the lakes, clean the gym, pressure wash the sidewalks, and help keep common areas looking presentable. Residents should not feel like the property is slowly deteriorating around them. The gate situation is what really pushed me over the edge. Residents are being told that the gate was damaged by a drunk driver, but after talking to people, it sounds like the gate had issues long before that incident. Just fix the gate already. The entrance road is extremely dark, and much of the property lacks adequate lighting at night. For residents coming home after work, especially women and families with children, this is a serious safety concern. It’s disappointing because my girlfriend signed a 12-month lease expecting a safe, well-maintained community. Instead, she moved into a property with broken amenities, poor upkeep, lighting issues, and unresolved security concerns. Management continues to collect rent every month while residents are left wondering where that money is being invested. If you’re considering moving here, take a thorough tour, inspect the amenities closely, visit at night to see the lighting conditions, and speak with current residents before signing a lease. I wish someone had given my girlfriend that advice before she moved in. I may speak with a lawyer so she can be let out her lease. This is ridiculous.

  Recently moved in. Roaches as soon as I opened the door. Put in a pest request, 3 weeks later it’s been marked off but has not ever been completed. Cathaline seems to be the only one who actually tries to get things done for the residents. There’s no steady staff in the office. You literally have to tell your concerns over and over to a different person. They do not return calls, or emails, or messages in the app lol just savage. These apartments are huge, I only see about 2 older maintenance men daily. The complex is too big for only 2 maintenance, then they’re older. It’s ridiculous tbh.

  The situation in this property is extremely worrying and requires immediate attention. The high turnover of managers shows the lack of support and effective management. Serious hygiene and maintenance problems persist, including cockroach infestation, as well as safety deficiencies that have resulted in vehicle theft and vandalism. These conditions make the monthly rent price completely unjustified and require urgent corrective measures by the administration

  Nice and cozy place. The power went out at the entire complex for about 15 minutes.

  Worst apartment I’ve ever lived at. I would never even recommend my worst enemy to live here. The garbage has not been taken out multiple times, and it piles up to where we have to complain to get it taken out even when we pay for garbage every month. My car was towed, and I was parked in one spot but the towing company claimed I was parked in two spots. I moved here because I thought it would be more affordable, but it’s just as expensive as other apartments. I cannot wait to move out. Also, when calling, they NEVER answer the phone. Customer service is the worst that I’ve ever received, and I’ve lived in 5 different apartments since moving here to the Houston area. This is the worst apartment I’ve ever experienced.
