  Very disappointing experience with this property management company. We rented this home remotely from Oregon and relied on the listing photos and information. Unfortunately, the condition upon arrival was significantly different, with multiple issues that we immediately documented and reported. Despite several emails and a scheduled meeting, our concerns remain unresolved and communication has been extremely poor. The scheduled meeting with Andy Hidalgo was missed without a call or explanation. Now, our AC has also stopped working. The biggest issue is not that a rental home can have maintenance problems—it’s the lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability when those problems are reported. If you are considering renting remotely, I strongly recommend doing your due diligence and confirming the property's actual condition and how maintenance concerns are handled before signing a lease.

  my experience with Liz was amazing. moving in was the opposite. we moved into a home full of dead bugs, greasy stove/oven, literal black carpet, smelly garage. etc we were never given a mail key or mailbox number. we don’t even have a trash bin. andy has been the one in charge of getting this done for us & doesn’t respond quickly at all but a “i’ll get back shortly” yet it’s been 2 days. this has been an awful experience to say the least. there’s no way i can contact them but through a portal which is not effective in any way…

  I've had the pleasure of getting to know Jamaal Pratt with Emerson Property Management both personally and professionally, and I've been very impressed with him. We've had the opportunity to meet for lunch a couple of times, and Jamall also gave a presentation at Keller Williams Clear Lake that was informative, professional, and genuinely useful. Jamaal is knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly takes pride in providing excellent service. He has a great way of explaining the services of his company and he is someone who takes time to build relationships rather than simply make a sales pitch. As a real estate professional, its important to me to have trusted resources I can confidently refer clients to, and Jamaal is someone I absolutely feel comfortable recommending to property owners who need professional property management.
