If you want your vehicle to be vandalized in a “secure” parking garage, come and live here. This place sucks, management have done nothing about the multiple vehicle vandalism that has been happening in the last few months. My vehicle was vandalized, my wheels were stolen and it was broken into. My brother’s truck was vandalized (his catalytic converter was cut off). The vehicle of my mom’s friend was vandalized as well, her catalytic converter was completely stolen during the day from the first floor where they claim a camera is in place. Just to find out that they weren’t able to cover any footage of the incident. They claim that they are aware of the ongoing situation but nothing has been done about it.
Edit: I added pictures of my car that was vandalized
I would not recommend living here, especially if you are expecting “luxury living.”
Since moving in, we have experienced repeated issues with water intrusion, poor communication, unreliable internet, and safety concerns. The property advertises itself as luxury living, but the resident experience has been far from that.
The water issue has been ongoing since we moved in. Most recently, the fifth-floor hallway near the parking garage entrance was completely wet and smelled strongly of dog urine. When I reported it, the response was basically that it was due to the weather and that a vendor had been scheduled. My concern was not just that the carpet was wet — it was why water was entering that specific area, whether the source of the intrusion was being investigated, and why carpet blowers or drying equipment were not being used immediately to prevent odor, bacteria, or mold.
This is especially concerning because in our previous unit, we had mold and mushrooms growing inside the apartment. It took about a week for the issue to be addressed, and even then, the leak itself was not properly investigated and the damaged floors were never repaired. That is unacceptable for any apartment, but especially one marketed as luxury.
The internet has also been a major issue. The property promotes its internet setup/preferred provider, but it has been extremely unreliable and one of the worst parts of living here, especially for anyone who works from home or depends on stable service.
There have also been safety concerns, including break-ins, and residents were not properly alerted or kept informed. Communication from management often feels dismissive instead of proactive.
Overall, this property does not provide the level of service, maintenance, communication, safety, or reliability that should come with the price or the “luxury living” label. Wet carpet, water intrusion, mold concerns, unreliable internet, poor communication, and lack of transparency around safety issues are not luxury living.

Hey Future neighbor,
Before coming to Durham Heights I was fooled by a previous apartment complex named East Bend. They fooled me with their promises and their mediocre idea of luxury living. It was a literal shit show. From the unprofessionalism, the dirtiness, the cheap parties, broken gym machines, getting my packages stolen, high rent, trash rooms filled to the top with trash and bugs etc. I was so traumatized.
I really wasn’t sure about Durham Heights at first but their front desk team was so welcoming. The team made me feel like it was a safe space and the building smelt so good. Durham Heights is ran by professionals and experts of their craft. They have great problem solving skills and things are fixed immediately. The elevators and hallways have this beautiful sweet scent that just makes you want to look at the ceiling and smile. They also throw the best events. They work hard to partner with local businesses to give us free treats. We also have a few security officers that work overnight to protect the building and watch the garage. We also have a fine strong cop that lives in the building but you didn’t hear that from me lmao.
The Durham Heights team has helped heal me from dirty East Bend and I couldn’t thank them enough. This is a great clean caring community to be part of. I haven’t had any issues with my packages and my neighbors are so nice. You are going to love the gym and we have two pools. Book your tour today and say Dejaun sent you. Xoxo

Honestly the location alone makes this place hard to leave. Super close to the freeway which is a lifesaver commuting downtown for work, HEB is right there, and there are great restaurants all around. The resident events they put together are actually really cute too. Little things like that make it feel like a real community.
Been here almost 2 years and like any other community it has its moments. Neighbors leaving trash out on days there’s no scheduled pickup is a big annoyance for me and people not cleaning up after themselves. Some residents could definitely be more mindful of the people around them. At the end of the day, we all share this space. That said, the last couple weeks since another new manager came on it’s noticeably improved and I’ve noticed the difference..
The office team has always been responsive in my experience. Any time I’ve brought a complaint to their attention it got handled quickly. I’ve also seen staff out walking the property throughout the day so it’s not like nothing is being done on their end.
The garage was a complete disaster when we first moved in, but has been running fine for over a year now, and night patrols have improved- I think they changed the company? A lot of the other complaints honestly come down to other people picking up after themselves and their pets. Day to day this place looks great, but the late night crowd is really where the issues come from. Once the office people are in though, it seems to get taken care of. Respecting your neighbors and your community makes a bigger difference than people realize.
But we keep renewing for a reason. We love our neighbors, the location is great, the office staff has been consistent, and it feels like home.

I was nervous about moving to Houston& being able to find place I feel safe and happy in. Durham Heights as been a dream come true!! Since day one the leasing management has been so helpful. Mia is the one who I worked with and any questions/concerns I had she responded quickly and was so kind. The apartments have stainless steel appliances, hard word floors, and a washer/dryer (which is a must for me!!) Since moving the apartment complex is clean, it’s quiet, neighbors are friendly, every maintenance request has been done the same day, the two separate gyms and up stairs cardio room have everything you need for a full workout… I’m just ready for summer now to use the two pools and BBQ on the green eggs. I love living here, I love the parties/events the leasing office throws, I love the community, truly if you’re looking to love where you live, MOVE HERE. :)
