I would not recommend living at Ronan Apartments. The maintenance staff has always been respectful and does their best, but they appear to be severely understaffed and constantly playing catch-up with issues that shouldn’t be happening in the first place. The biggest problem is management. The leasing office has been dismissive, disrespectful, unethical and unwilling to take accountability when residents raise concerns. Communication is poor, and getting straightforward answers about billing or lease issues is impossible. I’ve experienced ongoing maintenance problems, including water intrusion during rainstorms. There have been instances where water leaked into areas inside kitchen appliances, creating concerns about both property damage and safety. No resident should have to worry about rainwater filling up their microwave or stovetop. Several appliances have also had recurring issues, and half of the outlets/sockets don’t work, making it frustrating to pay rent while basic amenities don’t function as expected. The billing practices are another major concern. Charges appear on accounts falsely and without clear explanations, and residents are often left trying to figure out what they’re actually being asked to pay. I’ve had situations involving rent concessions and fees that were handled in a way that felt misleading and unnecessarily complicated. Residents should carefully review every charge on their ledger. Even when documentation has been provided for things like renter’s insurance, additional fees and billing discrepancies can still become a headache to resolve. I have renter insurance with them and they still charge me 50$ twice a month for renter insurance under “lease violation fee”. I have to contact the district manager of AG living every month to pay rent which is unnecessary frustrating since i work 12hr shifts. The maintenance team deserves credit for their effort, but management and the overall resident experience have been disappointing. For the amount of money being paid, tenants deserve transparency, professionalism, and apartments that don’t have recurring leaks and unresolved issues. I’ve attached photos showing everything, including them charging me rent twice. Today is the 5th, and my rent was genuinely paid on the 1st. How can I pay on the 1st when they’re charging me for rent twice? It feels like a scam they use to avoid honoring the rent special. They leave the account showing a balance until the 7th, forcing residents to either pay full rent again or risk being hit with late fees. On top of that, they charge a $50+ “convenience fee” if you pay online. Because of that, I have to take time out of my workday and bring in a money order just to pay rent. The convenience fee is percentage-based, so for many residents it’s likely much higher than $50. Between the double rent charges, unexplained fees, and the constant billing issues, this has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I’m sure they’re gonna reply trying to twist the truth, but don’t take my word/evidence for it PLEASE COME SEE FOR YOURSELF LOL.

Hello, I am a resident here at Ronan. A very unsatisfied resident, there has been mold living in my apartment since I moved in June of 2025. Maintenance has came and painted over the mold multiple times. Almost every issue I’ve had they’ve painted over it or did a temporary fix. If I could put 0 stars I would. I will not be releasing here and would not recommend anyone to lease here.

They need a better selection process for new residents. Last month, a new family of 4 moved in and quality of life has gone downhill ever since!! They are extremely loud starting around 7 PM every single day of the week and the unwashed BO smells and roaches coming out of their unit is UNREAL. They also have an unruly large pitbull dog - I overheard the male resident say they bought a fake emotional support animal certification online in order to bypass the breed restrictions. Management really dropped the ball this time around. They really need to look into this.

I applied on 3/24/26 and was told the process would take up to 48 hours. It has now been 5 days, and I have not received any updates from the staff. I’ve visited the office twice (around 5:25 and 5:40), and although someone was inside, the door was locked and I was completely ignored. I have also called multiple times with no answer. On the one occasion the office was open, I spoke with Alondra, who said she would follow up with me, but I never heard back. The lack of communication and professionalism has been extremely frustrating. I’ve been patient and understanding, but this experience has made me reconsider moving forward. If this is how communication is handled before signing a lease, I can only imagine how it would be afterward.
