  We moved in 2024 it was infested with roaches. We didn’t move in right away we waited like a week because we had to put poison. Then we went back to cleaning up. And seal every crack in the cabinets & around the door & windows. Now this yr 2026 we’re infested with ants. Pest control came but that was worth less . So we had to buy some poison. Because the ants were biting us really bad & we have a toddler. Well also our AC went out a couple of times. So they finally just gave us 1 ac window unit. My son brought us another one for the other bedroom. So our apartment is warm in the living room area.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve had a great experience living at Barrett Apartments in Garland, TX! The property is well maintained, and the staff is friendly, professional, and responsive. I especially want to recognize Juan in Maintenance for always being helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to take care of any issues. Lindsey, the Property Manager, is also wonderful—she’s attentive, professional, and genuinely cares about the residents and the community. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience at Barrett Apartments and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to live in Garland!

  Living here for the past few months has been an absolute breeze. From the moment I toured the property, Lindsey in the management office made the entire process seamless, and that top-tier service hasn't stopped since. What Makes It 5 Stars Outstanding Leadership: Lindsey is genuinely responsive, professional, and attentive. She actually listens to resident feedback, resolves questions right away, and ensures the whole community runs smoothly. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and well-kept. Neighbors are courteous, and the office frequently hosts thoughtful community events that bring everyone together. If you are looking for a clean, safe apartment community with a staff that truly cares, I can’t recommend this place enough—huge thanks to Lindsey and the team for making this feel like home!

  I recently moved in with my thousands of brothers and sisters with a family of 4. The kitchen is nice, recently remodeled and with all stainless steel appliances. The home-cooked food tends to be gross as the human male likes to add dill to everything but we like to sustain ourselves on the fast food crumbs, garbage, and open cans of dog food that permanently litter the floor and counters. It can be cleaner and the wife wants to move away before the kids catch something but I'm hoping management calls pest control and does something about the tenants.

  I had a wonderful experience touring this apartment community! From the moment I walked in, Lindsey made me feel welcome. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. She thoroughly showed me the property, explained the amenities, and made sure I had all the information I needed to make an informed decision. Great customer service can make all the difference, and Lindsey definitely exceeded my expectations. Thank you for making my visit such a pleasant experience!
