  If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would have to because of the lack of communication between teams and the lack of care they have for the residents who live in this apartment. Problem number one: I was left without a C in 100+ degree weather in the beginning of summer all weekend with no response from the emergency maintenance team. You could imagine how that went. There was also a shooting across the street right in front of the entrance of the apartments that was blocked off for hours. I had to ride my gas out just to make sure I didn’t get shot! in the winter time in fall time you can bet your power is not gonna be on 24 hours of the day because it’s always an outage in this area. Do not move here!!!! they do not answer the phones. I don’t know if when you move here they automatically register your number into a system that automatically sends you to AI, but don’t plan on talking to anyone if you move in here cause it’s not happening. I had horrible neighbors that just up and decided to move one day and left two Pitbulls in their unit with no water, no food, and pet droppings all over the inside of the apartment. Oh, and they also left their door open! Now that they’ve left their apartment, the front Office team and the maintenance team have failed to address the unit. It was full of ants, roaches, and all things crawly, and guess where they’re coming now into my apartment! They keep trying to treat my unit when the true culprit is right next door to where I live. It’s been like that for a month and some change now. So if you’re looking for somewhere, please pay the extra hundred or 200 if you can, because this environment is not worth the hassle at all. I cannot wait until my lease is up. They won’t get another penny out of me! Oh, and I will be copying and pasting my review just in case they deleted it so everyone can steer clear!

  I applied to move in and used jetty for my deposit, I never moved in and let them know ahead of time (no one would answer the phone despite my emails and calls) and I cancelled with jetty to get my deposit back. I contacted decker apartment homes via email and asked them to cancel my application and to cancel with jetty so I could be refunded, I was told then would, but then jetty informed me they denied to cancel with jetty so I could be refunded. I’m upset as they are keeping deposit money for a place I never moved into. If someone could reach out and help me I’d be very appreciative as this was a slap in the face to someone who considered living there.

  We have given this place eight years of our life when we first moved in 2018 we were young teenagers. It was our first apartment so all of the red flags we kind of looked past due to the convenience with that being said I have some complaints and concerns. Firstly, the entirety of the time we’ve been here the gates have never worked. There has been constant flooding that you will be overcharged for because they will not compensate you. The Apartments are horrendously infested with roaches and in the eight years that we have lived here we have seen four people get shot as well as our car being broken into multiple times and somebody trying to steal my Neighbor’s vehicle, but don’t bother asking to pull camera footage because apparently none of the camera footage works. If you like hot water good luck with that, but that’s besides the point my real issue is we have given these people eight years of our life and up till about a month ago. I couldn’t tell you I had any issues with the actual staff. They were all friendly that was until a month ago. Mind you we are leaving this year. Our lease expires in August. we were waiting for them to send us an email about our lease agreement expiring but that never came. So we gave them more than a 30 day notice for them to reply that we were supposed to give them a 90 day notice. Remind you they never sent us a notice. Now, knowing that we aren’t staying there, their tone has changed. They’re tagging on extra money and all of a sudden they’re trying to say that we didn’t sign a lease with them last year and that our payments aren’t matching up with their records. Lucky for me, I pay for everything through the residential portal which keeps receipts but once given the proof of our lease agreement and the receipts from everything we’ve been paying for the last year now they no longer want to answer their emails, so please I beg you stay as far away from this place as you can because it doesn’t matter how many years of your life that you give them they’re Still gonna try to screw you over in the end

  Been here for two years now. People are exaggerating how often there are gunshots but even I'd have to admit that it's a bit concerning. Additionally, when I moved in, the management at the time was trying to work on renovating and restoring the laundry room. However, it's been two years and that room is not only not finished but the project looks to be completely abandoned, forcing me to find a nearby laundromat instead. Machines are lined up but derelict, one of the windows is still broken, and the room appears to be caked in dust like nobody's been in there for a long time. On top of that, people here who have dogs don't pick up after them despite bag dispensers in the outdoor common area, leaving many piles of doo in the grass where people can walk through. I've never had any real major issues with management apart from the occasional day when nobody was in the office during operating hours as expected but otherwise everyone I've talked to was friendly and cordial. Tickets I've submitted on Loft were responded to promptly and in a timely manner, any water shutoff notices to my building were done within the relative timeframe stated, and I've never lost internet for more than a day during the rare times when the network would reset for one reason or another. All in all, my experience here so far hasn't been bad but not really stellar, either.
