Amazing so far!!
Essence was very kind and informative during our tour, and we were moved in a month later.
We moved in 2 days ago- we had a small delay getting our keys but it was because they put new flooring in and made sure the unit was properly cleaned, and it was.
The manager introduced herself the day we moved in and was very kind. The apartment was very clean and overall we are so so happy here!!

Essance was such a great help and was very informative about the place! 10/10 would recommend this place to anybody I know. The complex is very clean and feels very homey. The move in process was smooth and everything turned out better than my expectations.

I just wanted to come and put my experience out there so anyone who’s looking to move can choose wisely and know what they’re getting themselves into when they move.
- When I first came to tour, my leasing agent wasn’t in the office that day but Yvonne was. I even called beforehand to let her know that I was on my way to tour and she said okay. When I walked into the office, she didn’t direct me to the golf cart like how you’re normally supposed to do when touring. She just went into a room and handed me keys and basically said “Go find it yourself”. I asked her well where is it..? She responded in a condescending tone and said “It’s around the corner”. Oh and I didn’t get to tour the apartment I was leasing the first time because it wasn’t ready even though I was supposed to move in the next day. Fortunately, the apartment I was leasing was close to the office but I had no formal tour of the complex and had to ask my leasing agent where many things were. I even had to do my own tour of the office because no one would show me around.
- I’m starting to see mini roaches and ants which are not okay. I keep the place clean but whenever I cook or have food out, they immediately start coming out which has been stressing and grossing me out. Usually, these are the initial signs that there’s an infestation coming so the second that happens, I will break my lease.
- I had 2 big bags of clothes in front of my door 2 days after I moved in because I had movers/family helping me move my things in but I wasn’t home so the door was locked. When I came back, the 2 big bags were gone. Almost half of my clothes were gone. I spoke to Essance about it and that’s when she told me that Valet probably took it and put it in the chute. This is important to mention and you’ll see why in my next point.
- I got a call from the Assistant Manager, Krista, yesterday about having a trash bag out and not in the trash bin they provided. That’s funny because she mentioned how the bag was too big for valet to take.. but I had 2 big bags full of clothes that Valet was able to take.. okay. That makes total sense.
- When Yvonne didn’t tour with me when I first came to the office, I called the next day and spoke to Essence to refund me my admin fee because that was an huge red flag for me. Essance insisted to give them another chance and she completed the tour on her phone via FaceTime. Thinking about it now, I should’ve been more adamant and demanded my admin fee back. My experience here has not been great at all.
- Since I got persuaded by Essence to lease here, there has been several emails that have went unanswered by her that I’ve had to call the office for just to get a response. It seems like they’re nice and helpful just so you could lease but then as soon as you sign, they don’t care about your concerns or issues.
- Maintenance is very slow here. I put in a request to come fix my washer and dryer yesterday and they still haven’t came. I haven’t been able to wash my clothes properly at all since I’ve moved here. Even when you call the emergency line, for any of the things they consider an emergency, they’ll have an automated system call you back and say it’s not an emergency. THATS very annoying I didn’t even have AC for 2-3 days because it “wasn't an emergency.”
A resident had called a courtesy officer for whatever reason and the courtesy officer thought it was okay to just enter into my place and I had just gotten out the shower. So I guess anyone can call the officer and the courtesy officer will just listen and enter homes. This was very scary.
Please don’t make the same mistake that I did of leasing here. Like I said, once I start seeing an infestation of roaches, I will break my lease.

Don't no rent here! worst experience i have ever had in my 10 years of renting, i have had better staff interaction and cleaner/livable apartments in bad neighborhoods in Dallas than here. The staff will lie and give false promises to get you to sign the lease. Told us they hired cleaners twice and i still found mold on window seals, dirt marks all over the floors and mold inside the washer(pic attached to review) worst repairs i have ever seen, the shower had water leaking inside the bottom tub and the repair was to caulk the drain catcher and drain that's sticking up from the bottom tub, leaving puddles of water every time you showered. the main kitchen counter had a brown burn mark so the repair was to dab paint on top then clear coat it but only one corner, which cause over spray all over and looks worst then the burn mark. this apartment is gated but they literally leave the gates open 24/7. what is the point of having a gate if its open overnight more then it is closed in the past 2 years. all the pics i have attached is when i signed the lease and after they did a full walk through and 2 cleaners called.
