  I’m preparing to move into The Civic, and the whole transition into my new apartment home has honestly been smooth and stress-free. The staff has been so accommodating, friendly, and helpful throughout the process, which has made the experience even better. Overall, it’s been a really positive experience, and I’m excited to finally move in and make it feel like home.

  I usually don’t post these things but since they don’t care, neither should I. I’m a new tenant and already dealing with billing issues. I was sent an official statement showing a -$1,400 balance, which clearly indicated I owed nothing for May. I relied on that information, only to later be told I owed rent plus a late fees. It’s the lack of integrity for me. I’m sure they’re going to write a “reach out to us to get this resolved”. I spoke to them several times and NO ONE cares.

  Security deposit withheld without any signed policy provided. I applied for an apartment at Civic at Frisco Square and paid a $150 security deposit. I later canceled my application before moving in or taking possession of the unit. The property refused to refund the deposit, stating it was non-refundable due to cancellation and holding the unit off the market. However, despite multiple requests, they were unable to provide any signed agreement or specific written policy showing that I agreed to the deposit being non-refundable under these circumstances. The only documentation provided relates to the application fee, not the deposit in question. At this time, no written policy has been provided to support retaining the $150 deposit. Update: Despite multiple follow-ups, a BBB complaint, and attempts to escalate this directly with management, I still have not been provided with the specific signed agreement or written policy supporting retention of the $150 deposit. I have repeatedly been told management was unavailable, in meetings, or would return my call by the end of the day, but no callback or resolution has been provided.
