  Went on tour today and the office staff was amazing. I’ve been looking around in several apartment complexes, and this is the best one!

  After a couple years of living here we have seen some good changes recently, being it is older complex we know it's not perfect but we can see the new manager trying to make it a better place. Things are looking better!

  Air conditioning doesn't work and we told the office multiple times but instead they called the cops on us for making complaints when it's there job to help us they get mad and call the cops for bringing the problem to them while others have no ac this summer rats and roach infestations and things rotting and breaking after 5 months there and the school unit is always leaking and they won't clean out the houses that are trashed and no one lives in honestly I would rather move then stay here and bed bug infestations.

  Maintenance never fix anything, ceiling has been leaking whenever it rains since we moved in 9 months ago, ac unit has been leaking for over a month, none of the outlets have a cover anytime we request Maintenance they keep saying its been resolved or remove the request. Do not move into these apartments, many broken windows and boarded up windows

  The only words I can use to describe The Hayes Apartments is DISGUSTING and UNPROFESSIONAL. I’ve went to visit my younger cousin and her apartment is not even in livable conditions. There are multiple safety hazards and no air conditioner. Major health hazard due to hot and humid temperatures in Texas. It’s flat out inhumane. Bobby the manager is unprofessional. Very disrespectful to my family and racial profiles. They have raised her rent multiple times within the same lease. ILLEGAL. Everything about them is illegal. It’s to the point where I told my cousin to obtain legal representation to sue and I will be helping her with that as of TODAY. They should gladly let her out of her lease due to unhabitable living conditions instead of eviction. As a Texas citizen she does have the right to request being let out of the lease due to inhabitable living conditions. That’s a way to get out of a lease early and unfortunately my younger was not aware of that. Instead of helping the tenants Bobby treats them poorly and would rather file eviction instead of actually having compassion and making sure the tenants are comfortable and safe. When tenants post their review management responds as if they truly care and concerned but it’s a hoax. My cousin is younger and they take advantage of her. We’re currently in the process of following the chain of command to handle this properly and taking the legal route. I was stunned when I viewed her and her son living condition. Was literally in tears and no one deserves to live that way and be treated poorly by management. I took several photos and have the work order receipts. I had to step in and assist. We’re escalating this immediately. I’m glad she reaches out to me and I will not rest until justice is served.
