Just wanted to give the biggest shoutout to one of the leasing officers Gabby who has helped us out tremendously. She's truly went above and beyond with helping us find a last-minute place to live. When I needed urgent communication, she was there to help any questions. Gabby shows an awesome representation to the high quality facility and operations of Revl Crockett Row, and I'm excited to live here!

I lived here for a year. I usually didn't have any issues, but the problems that I did have went unresolved. The apartment was disgusting when I moved in. There was a hair spray-like substance covering all of the surfaces that took hours to scrub away, urine on the floor, used pimple patches stuck to counters, and pet food scattered in the laundry room. I stored my bike in one of the storage units, and it was stolen. The door was undamaged, and the unit was broken into by someone with access to the key. Given that the only people who had access to that room were myself and the leasing staff, the potential thief was narrowed down. I was told by the leasing staff that nobody who worked there was capable of stealing my bike. I responded that it couldn't walk out of the room by itself. I asked if they could help with even half of the price of the bike, and they said that they aren't responsible for the items stored inside the units. I would argue that they are responsible for the keys that unlock the doors, but they refused any compensation. The lease stated that they would be financially responsible if the theft were due to negligence, but they refused to honor this section. This apartment complex also has an issue with water pipes freezing in the winter. The fire alarm went off multiple times due to busted pipes. This is not a leasing manager issue, but was still very frustrating due to the frequency.

I recently moved out of this complex, I truly loved my experience there and hardly had any issues. It was my first apartment on my own, I always felt very safe and really enjoyed my little apartment and time I had there. After I moved out, I checked my portal several times up until a month after my lease ended to make sure I didn't have an outstanding balance or anything and I didn't (end of March). Fast forward to middle-end of April and I haven't heard anything from Revl so I figure everything was fine, but start getting calls from "Property Receivables" saying I had a bill that was sent to them for collections and demanded to take payment over the phone. Anytime I asked questions about the bill details or another way to pay so they weren't receiving my card information on the phone they got argumentative and stubborn about any answers. The bill was for $150. Every day this company called me from different numbers demanding payment and I thought it was a scam so I ignored it, but turns out Revl did send a $150 bill to collections, affecting my credit score, without any notification that I had received it. I completely expected some move-out fees or something of the sort, but a $150 bill being sent to collections, without me having any idea, and not disclosing to me at all what it was regarding felt like a complete slap in the face. I'm glad I didn't leave a review until after I moved out because I would've given Revl probably 5 stars because I did love it so much and only moved because it got out of price range for me. But a $150 bill that I was forced to pay, over the phone, without a statement and no other options because it was continuing to drop my credit score, has made me completely backtrack a positive rating, and telling my friends who are thinking about moving to go anywhere else, when this was the first place I always recommended to people. I'm extremely frustrated by the lack of communication and transparency that I've received for a plethora of reasons over such a small bill affecting my personal life.
